I have been a patient of Dr.Brodmerkle For the last 13 years. He is the best eye doctor, other eye doctors can't seem to get my prescription right for contacts or glasses. Dr. Brodmerkle gets it right the first time so you don't waste time and money going back and forth. He is courteous, kind, funny and totally professional. The staff are super friendly and very helpful! Picking out glasses can be a real pain, it's nice to have someone you trust to guide you through that process!! I would never go anywhere else!! Established in 2008.

Premier Eyecare of Carrollton opened it's doors August 11th of 2008. Dr. Brodmerkle, Dr. Poston, Dr. Sloan, and Dr. Thompson all see patients out of the Carrollton office.

Meet the Business Owner: Robert S.

Dr. Robert Sloan attended undergraduate school at the University of Missouri. He graduated from Illinois College of Optometry, Chicago, Illinois. From 1978 through 1988 Dr. Sloan was the Chief of Eye Care of Stadium Care Center and Director of Eye Care for Prime Health H.M.O. in the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area. After relocating to North Missouri in 1989, Dr. Sloan practiced in Chillicothe, Hamilton, Cameron, and Brookfield Missouri. In 1973 he established Sloan Eye Care Centers. Sloan Eye Care merged with Brodmerkle Family Eye Care in 2004 to form Premier EyeCare Associates, where Dr. Sloan serves as the company's managing member. He was the past president of Missouri Optometric Association, and Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce. He is Fellow of American Academy of Optometry and multiple award winner of AOA Optometric Recognition Award. Dr. Sloan extensively lectures to Optometrists around the nation on the subjects of Practice Management and Contact Lenses.

This area does not provide good service. The ladies were rude and when we called they said they…read moreaccepted walk-ins, which was a total lie because the doctor didn't even come in until 11AM. My aunt was very upset as she couldn't see yet. The ladies continued to sit and do nothing after they sent her on her way. There was not a single person in line and they had told us we would have to wait until 2 PM for an appointment, so obviously they did not accept walk-ins. We left super upset and drove to America's Best in St. Joseph. Much better service there and helpful staff.

I do not recommend their service. I received my eye exam and then was shown over price frames. I received my glasses in a timely manner but the prescription was wrong. I then had another eye exam and a different script sent in. I was still having difficulty with the glasses and they was sent back in and only to receive another pair of glasses that I still can not function in. I then decided to go to a different doctor and see if there was a different in prescription. When I presented this script to the doctor at Premier, she became defensive. And told me she I either take the script they had for me or I could go elsewhere. Well folks, I guess I'm out of the money I spent to get 2 pair of glasses. A total of $950. Wal-Mart here I come. read more

I recently had an appointment for the very first time at Premier Eyecare Associates. I was able to get in after I got off of work, which was what I needed. I saw Dr. Posten. She was extrememly friendly and knowledgable, and took the time to help me get the correct contact lense prescription. I would receommend her and this practice to anyone seeking an eye doctor. read more

My family and I have been using Premier for several years now. As a mother to three young kids, it's very important for the doctors to have a good disposition with the kiddos.
