Other Lawn & Garden stores offer competative pricing as well, but poor to mediocre customer service. The main thing to me is customer service. At the end of the day, it's the only thing businesses have to offer to set them apart from everone else. It's what doing business is all about. And Joe's has been terrific I bought my lawn tractor from Joe's, and I have it serviced every year. They're fair and knowledgable, responsible and prompt. And, its a locally owned company. I highly recommend doing business there.

I took it back and they tried to say it was my fault it didn't run. Took it to a place in Elkhart and they said it wasn't worth servicing and tried to sell me a new one. When I told them i didn't want a new mower they said they would repair it. After another $300 dollars it only ran marginally better. After a recommendation from a friend I took it to Joe's. Joe got it running great and 100 times better the others and for only $118,00. I will drive the extra miles for the great work and customer service of Joe's Engine. He is a honest man. Not many places like this anymore.

Have even bought some bigger pieces of equipment from the salesmen before but that doesn't even matter. Was also told they can't get stuff for Kubota tractors(not even what I stopped for) even though they have multiple Kubota BX tractors sitting out front. Poor customer service now.

Took lawn equipment in to get repaired, specifically carb repairs and cable replaced. Was told 10 -…read more14 days. After 5 weeks finally called and said it was ready. They did fix the repairs I asked for, BUT while they had it, bearings went out and they went ahead and fixed it without contacting me. I payed at least 3 times what i thought i was going to pay. It is an older piece of equipment, 18-20 years old, however what i payed for the total repairs i could have bought a BRAND NEW piece for $15 more.
