If you're a Priority Pass Select holder, you'll have a choice between the Preludium or Bolero Executive Lounges. While both are located in Terminal A of Warsaw Frederic Chopin airport, Preludium is accessible if you're flying within the EU. This one is situated in between gates 33-35 and on the lower level of Terminal A.
First thing is first, upon entering it looks relatively new as everything is in pretty good shape and reminded me of an IKEA showroom. The space is divided into 3 or 4 different seating areas with some TV showing current news and other monitors showing flight information. The one thing I enjoyed about my layover here was how empty it was. Plenty of food and snacks to choose from.
Flying from Chicago (I recall an 8 hour flight or so), first thing I did was hit the shower here. They provide these disposable towels for you to dry off (think of like a giant paper towel, not the softest on the skin but gets the job done). And the soap/shampoo situation is this unique all in one formula to be utilized in hair and on body. Never seen such a thing before, but I definitely felt like a whole new person afterwards. Great!
Time for food... two main dishes served including some mashed potatoes and some sausages. Soup was this delicious curry coconut soup. Plenty of desserts and baked goods to go along with their self serve coffee machines. Most impressive was their refrigerated section... a place for plenty of sliced meats, cheeses, bottled cokes, bottle mineral water, beers, etc.
Of the two lounges I had access to at this airport, I'd definitely give the edge to this one over Bolero in terms of space and selection of snacks. Wish I took more pictures as I didn't realize I'd be first to review this one, but anyways... 'Til next time, cheers!
