Our roof was damaged during a hail storm in May 2021. GTR was recommended by our insurance company,…read moreALFA. We got the estimate and they started the job in June. They left an unsupervised crew, which we found out later this crew was not supposed to be on any job site due to previous issues but they were so slammed they sent them to our house. The roof was HORRIBLE, the edges were uneven, the dormer siding had been destroyed, the gutters were stepped in and bent, my flower beds were destroyed, the shingles weren't even nailed in spots. PLUS, there was food, I mean watermelon rinds, oranges and the bags they came in, chicken bones and water and soda bottles everywhere, even on top of the house! Turns out, the "roofers" had an assistant tossing beers up to them while they were working on our house. The were drunk and apparently, that had happened before. They came back, 20+ times, NEVER completed the job to our satisfaction, the roof looked better before they repaired it. We just finally said that's fine, we are done! We paid them off September 4!! Almost 4 months! The Moral of this review: NEVER, EVER USE GTR CONTRACTORS FOR ROOFING!! They do not know what they are doing.
