My therapist (Mae) did use some hot stones on me without me asking for the hot stone massage which was nice. however- the bad: I've never had a massage that they only cover you with a thin towel, and left me completely uncovered through most of the massage even when she wasn't working on that area. I was completely naked so this felt a little weird (and cold) especially since the therapist kept leaving the door cracked/open. I had a 90 min massage that went from 1:05-2:25, so not the full 90 especially when considering that she left the room about 4x to get various things. She also set her cell phone down next to my head and it kept buzzing next to my head. Not very relaxing. She also kept my face covered with a dry towel the whole massage which made me feel a little claustrophobic. When I went to pay, I left a 15% tip which felt fitting given the things I just mentioned and she actually told me I needed to tip more. I said what and she translated it on her phone that I needed to tip her more. I said no. As stated the massage itself was good, but I was cold the whole time, felt pressured to tip and there were multiple things I felt were unprofessional, like not keeping me covered, warm and the phone buzzing in my ear, plus not getting the full 90, I felt a 15% tip was fair. She had some great recommendations for further treatment, and I feel comfortable to return for the more invasive procedure. And the other thing- I got a 120 min massage but we started at 1:11 & ended at 2:54... so I felt I lost 15 mins of the massage and the end of the massage was really abrupt (like ok you're done vibes) when I had asked the last 15 mins be on my head.
