Commonwealth Adjusters delivered exactly the results they advertised. We were in a situation where…read morea claim was incorrectly settled due to COVID. During the height of COVID, we suffered a partial loss of one of our structures. No adjuster was sent to our property, and the claim was to be paid based on a contractor's estimate. After nearly two years of excuses, it became necessary to replace the contractor. The new contractor's estimate was several times the estimate of the no-show. The insurance company showed no willingness to work things out with the new contractor. So we visited a well-advertised area law firm that looked things over and said they could not help. The only advice we were given was to take what was offered as it had been over a calendar year since the initial claim, No other advice was given. Enter Commonwealth Adjusters. After a phone conversation with Scott and some exchanged documents, he got the ball rolling. After several months of negotiations, Scott turned things around. He turned a $60,000 settlement into a $175,000 settlement. He advised us that our policy entitled us to payment for its contents. This was an item that the insurance claims specialist had stated was not covered. Filing this provided another $25,000 If we had used Commonwealth Adjusters from the beginning, the claim settlement would have been substantially higher. If you believe the insurance company has your back, don't believe them, regardless of what they tell you. Is Commonwealth Adjusters worth the price? Considering that they did what a big law firm couldn't, they are worth twice the price. If I ever have another claim, I'll call them first.
