After…read moreconsultations with 3 different plastics (2 in FW & 1 in Dallas) I immediately knew after leaving Dr. K's initial consult, he was the surgeon for me. Where do I even begin with how pleased I am w/ the results of my breast augmentation. Dr. Kurkjian did my breast augmentation on a Thursday AM & the following day (Friday), I had to remind myself to take it easy because I just had surgery. That's how seamless the recovery has been. I also work in wound care and can tell you, Dr. K's technique is something of a rarity in terms of healing. Very mild tightness (on a pain scale of 1-10, barely even a 1) and this was for all of 2-3 days max. Dr. K is one talented plastics w/ what I would refer to as magical hands. My boobs are EXACTLY what I had envisioned and I truly could not be happier. They fit my body type perfectly. I also LOVE his NP equally as much. Ciera, YOU are awesome!!! From the initial consultation, surgery, and post-op, Dr. K and his entire office staff take care of business! He is meticulous, personable & dang good at what he does.

Update - it's now a year after a revision by another surgeon who worked with another Mayo surgeon…read morefor a plan. 6.5 hr surgery. I was realistic as I knew my face wouldn't function or work normally again and my appearance couldn't be restored , but there are improvements. I can go outside without the excessive tearing. The reason Dr DrK said he couldn't do the revision (excessive swelling from flying in for surgery and living at high altitude) wasn't an issue. Found out I had cobra neck deformity, which is where they don't notice you have low salivary glands or that you neck muscles are a bit forward oriented - DrK had written on surgical note that I had "well placed submandibular glands." Not sure why he didn't realize my neck anatomy required a different approach. Also forgot I was a weight loss patient and didn't pull the neck skin appropriately. Told me that he told the resident "this almost looks like a weight loss neck," The bulge under the palsy eye that he attributed to a prior surgeon (that you'd think he would have corrected with his upper/loweer bleph) was actually a DrK poor fat graft lump by DrK.. I will never be able to not be reminded of this. The facial palsy side lid droops, and I'll always have the twitch and the flat cheek. Being on Zoom or Teams is so depressing. DrK did not stand by his work, and when he said he wouldn't do the revision did not help me find support. Old saying, "the true measure of a ps is how they deal with complications." Ignored most of mine, didn't document, and basically abandoned me. And now facing retirement, the financial hit has been devastating - don't have time to recover from it. I just don't understand how he markets himself as so meticulous with a discerning eye, world class training, great pics on social media and I end up like this. Be careful.

Dr. Steele and his staff are amazing. After having 3 separate consultations by 3 surgeons for my…read morebreast lift and augmentation, I was concerned that I was not going to find a surgeon that I was comfortable with performing my surgery. Dr. Steele changed this outlook for me on my fourth consultation, and I was immediately at ease after meeting him, Erica, Jessica, and Keri. Everything was easy and pleasant starting from making my initial consultation to scheduling my surgery to post op follow up appointments. At my consultation, I was able to discuss what I wanted and ask as many questions as I had. I never felt rushed. Dr. Steele listened to what I was wanting and gave me several suggestions based on his measurements and my body size that would work best for my body and size. I was then able to view these sizes on VR goggles to "see" for myself. Dr. Steele is extremely knowledgable in the latest technology, techniques, products, has a great recovery process, and is a perfectionist in his skills. Keri, Erica, and Jessica have been amazing in answering all of my questions throughout this process, always responding quickly and also knowledgable as well. I have never had an easier scheduling process for any surgery that I have had. Even when a scheduling change occurred that was out of Dr. Steele's control, the office was in constant communication with me and found ways move mountains (in my opinion) to allow me to keep my same surgery date even on very short notice. Day of surgery was great at an outside surgery center. I was kept up to date on my surgery time change so I didn't arrive too early. I was checked in, and pre-op started. Dr. Steele came in and began his markings. I was thoroughly impressed by how meticulous he was to make sure everything was perfect. The entire process from consultation, surgery, post-op, and now recovery several months down the road has been amazing with Dr. Steele and the team. Any question, concern, or moment of panic I ever had was validated and reassurance was given that I am healing as expected and! I feel more like part of a big extended family of Dr. Steele's instead of a patient. I have never felt rushed or that any concern is silly (even when I know it is). As I am a medical professional, it was incredibly important for me to have a surgeon that I felt comfortable talking with, is board certified, is incredibly knowledgable and had impeccable training, maintains the most up to date training, will tell me about different pros and cons of products (implants), has a great bedside manner, is a perfectionist, and has my best interest in mind. Dr. Steele exceeded all of these requirements and more. I love Dr. Steele, Keri, Erica, and Jessica! They are an exceptional Plastic Surgery office that will treat you as family!

I was very surprised when I tried to schedule myself for Juvederm injections recently…read more 9 and 10 years ago I received Juvederm injections at Dr. Anderson's spa and it went perfectly. 2 years ago I went in for Juvederm injections and had a bad reaction. The nurse asked what other medications I recently had and I told her I had a Physer covid booster 2 days prior. She quickly got an antidote to neutralize the reaction. She was apologetic for someone not telling me to avoid certain medications before getting Juvederm injections. She treated me very well, apologized and gave me ice pads for my face. And I felt it was my fault for getting the covid booster before the Juviderm. When I got home and looked in the mirror, I was very surprised. It was very ugly. It was surly a bad reaction. I texted the spa and told them that my face was very ugly. Now, fast forward to present day: I made the appointment on November 19th. Then I received a call from a woman who said that I could not return to the spa at all for anything because of the way I acted after the Juvederm reaction 2 years ago. She continued to accuse me of many things. She told me that, at that time, she tried to call me back to the spa, and I wouldn't come. (I don't remember this) She said, that I told her to stop harassing me. I believe this as a lie. I would never say that because she was nice to me at the time. I remember the nurse was not mad at me 2 years ago, nor was I mad at her or upset at anyone. It was a continual verbal abuse on the phone and a very big surprise. I don't know why she would make these accusations at this time. Possible she thought that the same Juvederm reaction would take place if I had it done, and it would embarrass her or the spa?? Or, she didn't like me texting the spa to tell how I saw my face? I don't know. My wife and I spent well over $45,000 on plastic surgery and some on Juvederm from Doctor Anderson during the last 20 years and everything was great with high quality, perfect surgeries. Why am I treated this way now? This above is the absolute truth. I am a Christian and it would be very difficult for me to lie.

She didn't introduce herself or tell me her level of training: nurse or MA? Then provider saw me without looking at my medical history or medication list, which is extensive, then looked at my skin and made a diagnosis and determined a treatment plan without regard to asking me to explain what all I have tried in the past. Again, I didn't feel heard or like my opinion mattered from another doctor because of stigmatization against my mental illness. Please do not go see this provider's office. They give out medication without regard to what possible interaction between them there could happen. Received phone call from office manager explaining how it is possible for providers to pull information from previously seen providers and previously used pharmacy. I didn't know this to be a possibility. I do wish he would have verified the information he had seen on those records with me. Just because I have a prescription doesn't mean I take that medicine.

I know it is how in Texas - but for the love of good god don't leave you front door hanging open to the elevator area - that also made your lobby extremely hot.
