It was the end of the day, but Dave stayed and personally took care of changing the inner tube after sourcing the appropriate size in his inventory. Dave is one of the decent guys. He's serious about his work, cool, calm, collected. No drama just took care of it and sent me on my way. Andy worked smoothly with the Progressive Insurance estimator to determine the damage and cost the repair. Andy then quickly ordered the parts and began the repair. Some of the parts were put on backorder significantly delaying the final resolve but Andy was sensitive to my schedule and allowed me to take the bike home for use. This required him to do extra work without cost to reassemble the bike with the damaged parts on backorder. Please note that these parts were only scratched and scuffed and did not create any safety issues. As I write this one part is still on backorder but the rest of the repair was first rate. While the bike was with Andy I asked for a scheduled servicing and Andy made intelligent recommendations as to what the bike might need. This was something I had not seen with the dealership I'd been using. The servicing was done quickly and thoroughly with Andy even taking the time to correctly route a GPS wire I'd connected myself. He said when I decide to come check it out to call first as he did not want me to waste my time driving that far if it wasn't there. GREAT SERVICE with them. Alway upfront and always said stay within your budget. Did not try to pressure me into buying something that was more money. Did not try to get my to finance something if I didn't want to. Overall great time and experience. Even took it to the back and to make sure everything was good and ordered the few parts it needs to be 100%. I…read moretook the car back 4 times 1) when starting it would clunk-motor mounts not tightened 2) junk noises from underneath- left screwdriver in suspension. 3) clutch still not engaging/disengaging right 4) still not shifting right and the ESC light comes on by itself. My clutch would not always work just goes to the floor, won't go into gear, won't come out of gear. Steering wheel now not aligned with wheels. Took it to another mechanic he said that the clutch master cylinder had not been replaced and I paid for a new one. The new mechanic looked up the parts and found a clutch, flywheel and pressure plate set for $490.00 I was told from Wallace they were giving me a good deal and no markup because they were a thousand dollars each, the flywheel and the clutch. SO, they made over 1,500 in just those two parts alone. I was still paying for the car, had to pay off the loan trade it in as I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR. SO, in a matter of a couple weeks I paid the 3,200, 800.00 and then 2,500 to pay off the loan on top of the 4k as a down payment. I hope they had a good Christmas because I sure as heck did not. I used to trust this place 100% when Dad and Son ran it.********* I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS PLACE NOW. I DO NOT THINK ANY OF THE WALLACES DAD OR SON RUN THIS PLACE ANYMORE. It only took Dave half a morning to find my issue all why testing all my other EVAP parts including my gas tank. The repair was done quickly and I can't be happier.
