After much frustration with another company, I found Percision Garage Doors and scheduled a service appointment. This was my third attempt at getting my garage door repaired. Ryan was my service technician. He did a phenomenal job of diagnosing and finding many problems from my previous service. I was impressed with his knowledge of what was the problem, the care and time he took to fix ALL of them, but most importantly he did not act like it was an inconvenience for him to be here. The nut on the chain tension bolt worked itself off on my garage door unit. I called Precision Door Service and told them the issue. The scheduled an appointment for 2 hours later. When the gentleman showed up, he said they didn't repair/work on chain drives. He then proceeded to try and sell me an $850 new unit, which I declined. I had to pay $50 for a service call, even though I told them what the issue was on my CHAIN drive when I called an set up the appointment. Scam. read more

I had a situation with my garage door and I called Precision Doors service and Jayden came right out and inspected the garage system and the door .It was very old and needed to be replaced.I am disabled and it's very important to me to have my Garage door & system to be in excellent shape as they did for me.I am very grateful for Jayden as well as Casey.Just one more thing I will never have to worry about... Casey came out and installed the garage door and Jayden will be out this week to complete the electrical system. I am very pleased with the garage door that was installed... Needed a very basic repair. Guy refused to give me a quote without replacing the entire garage door system. I had to kick him out of my house because he would not give me a price to fix the door and told me if I did not spend a fortune the garage would fall and kill my kids. Pros: fast service, we were able to have a service call fulfilled in one day. Cons: Seriously feel like prey. We had a broken torsion coil and were fear mongered into replacing the whole system - bearings, cable, drums, rollers etc. "you don't want this to fall on your children". Seriously, Steve? Then the price gouging. $100 for a 7 ft torsion cable... retail price, $10. 10 rollers for $25 a piece... retail price, $5 per. Lifetime warranty because you are paying for a lifetime of parts upfront. This is all under the guise of being 'special high quality parts'. Any decent place pulling in a $1,000 job would provide a courtesy service to the other door. Little WD40 on the rollers and coil. Nope, on the way out.. The serviceman told me everything was wrong with my entire system, and if I didn't replace it today, the door would fall on the jeep in my garage. He quoted $4,400 for a new door. I was in tears. Thank God I got a second quote. I called Fayetteville Garage Door and they fixed it the next day, good as new, for $80! I don't know how this company sleeps at night ripping off people. They came to inspect our openers on July 5th. It was just a scam -Both motors have been through some serious issues lately, but they do operate. However, he was not even willing to see if they could be serviced, he just went straight to replacement. Thee tech said everything was wrong with this system (that has been working since 2000). He said springs too small, motors too small, doors too heavy. It would take full replacement of both and needed to be 3/4 hp instead of the current 1/2 hp. It doesn't even pass the sniff test since it lasted 20 years already !! But I let him do the quote so I could see how much he was trying to push it. #43563401 Estimate shows he thinks $2,773 is the bare minimum fix with new motors and belts but also still recommending bigger springs. Too bad for them - we next called someone with knowledge and honesty, they will just replace the motors with other 1/2 hp and we all know they are going to work another 20 years. Don't be so foolish in your reviews of equipment please. Also these will be Liftmaster units, same warranty the first company was offering. read more

Do your research check around if you like your money. These guys charge $250 for ten rollers that are $25 dollars from a local shop or off Amazon. Their prices are ridiculous check other local companies if you want it done right and for a reasonable price. Thankfully lots of other garage door businesses in nwa with honest fair prices. read more

I just had an excellent experience with precision door of Northwest Arkansas. My garage door quit working mysteriously last night I placed a call around noon today and they had a service man to my house by 2:30 PM. He wasn't even supposed to arrive until three but was running ahead of schedule and called to ask me if he could come early. My technician was Aaron, he was professional and courteous and quick to find the issue. The repair went very well and I couldn't be more happy with the workmanship. I couldn't even tell he had been in my garage for an hour after he left. Not one thing was out of place. Had a lighting strike a tree in our yard and had a service man come take a look at our opener that night at 6pm! We had a new opener installed by 11pm the next morning. The associate was friendly and professional. Glad I went with a company that takes care of you after the sale! Money you might save at the big box doesn't buy you that! read more
