New to Stockton from Oakland and this place always stood out to me since I pass by everyday. Finally decided to get a haircut, but received THE WORST customer service. I didn't get the name of the barber, but she gave me a very lazy haircut. Upon arrival, I noticed the woman who ended up doing my haircut was very personable and warm with everyone else, so I had great expectations-however, once I got into the chair it felt like her demeanor changed to completely cold. She only asked what I wanted for my haircut. That's it. Nothing else. It felt unwelcoming. After a very awkward haircut experience, I left with an uneven, poorly blended haircut. I ended up having to drive to my old barber all the way in The Bay to get it fixed. Was not worth the amount I paid, and I usually pay more elsewhere. I've come here twice now- haircut first with Tre - yes I recommend- good hair cut @ a good price. And you can walk in for a cut- same day! I called first jic. Any chemical / color work requires appt. no long wait time for me. 1 wk. during Thanksgiving. My services were a partial blonde weave & new haircut by the color expert at Precision, Michelle; who did such a good job. I'm real happy with all of it. Also my husband liked it & said I looked younger- so yay! IMHO: This is a good hair salon with good prices and good people. Worst place in town ! They messed my hair up and sell used products. I had to return my items cause they were half used. Then their employee had the audacity to tell me I Should check the products!!??? Horrible customer service! Don't go here! I walked in and the wait wasn't too long. The stylists are pretty blunt about your hair. They recommend you products but don't force them on you. They tell you how much your haircut is before they start. My hair was to my lower back and I got it cut to my shoulders for $45 with included wash and dry. I showed a picture of a styled cut I wanted, and they cut my hair well. Not exactly what the picture was, but close enough. They double check on the length with you. I wasn't super impressed, but I've had a lot of bad haircuts in my time and I'm just glad they did a good job. If you're looking for a basic cut or basic trim, this place is good for it. If you're looking for some complex cut, I'd probably suggest going else where. I'm satisfied with my hair cut, but I'm definitely considering going into a professional salon for color and some layers. This place is wheelchair accessible and willing to work with customers with wheelchairs. The products they have on display are on sale. I've been to other salons and seen the same products way over priced. I've found fancy products for way cheap here. read more

i was referred to lin for children's haircuts.. (someone claimed she was great with their autistic child) everything was great she did express that my son wasn't abled to sit on his dads lap after the first appointment because she was afraid to nic him.. that was fine we made sure he sat by himself going foward.. anyways we were blindsighted today when after 30 minutes of waiting, lin decides to pull my bf and son to the side and let them know that she nor any other stylists were "comfortable" cutting my 4yo sons hair because "he moves too much". FIRST of all why didn't she say anything as soon as we got there and not 30 minutes later or even at the LAST appointment? when i approached her and asked her why nobody feels comfortable cutting my sons hair she tried to deny even saying that. this place is so unprofessional it is sickening read more

Got a great fast haircut from here. This was my first time going here and it was easy. Also, when I sat down it was straight to the cut which I appreciate. I've been to places that have taken a half hour to cut my hair. I don't get that. Shave the sides shave the top done. I think they drag it out for some reason. Anyway I think I was in the chair for like 7 minutes. Boom. Done. Hair looks great. A+ experience and will be going back. read more

The sign at the desk states that haircuts are $20. It does NOT say that that is the price for men which is what I was told when I asked about it. I went back later and photographed the sign and it says nothing either. When asking about this, another gal said, "Prices for women start at $28." This is clearly not marked. Long hair is $30 and up but my hair was already so short that she couldn't clip more than about 1/2" everywhere. Not only that, I did not get a good haircut. The operator used a clipper instead of scissors and really chopped off my hair at the back where I had specifically asked her to go easy there as it is getting bald. We just tried getting our 3 year old AUTISTIC son a haircut but she didn't want to do it if he couldn't stay perfectly still. OK so story time, ME and Mariah had decided to go out, trying to keep busy and no5 qan5ing to deal with the heat. Seeing as its hot we decided not to do our make uo, my hair is up and I have no make up n on and am wearing just a tank top and some leggings, Mariah wearing leggings and a time shirt, now walking around in the heat isn't fun so we wanted to wear something comfortable. Now after hitting up CVS we decide to go to this beauty place called Beauty Mart. It's a small beauty store not that far from the house. Now when we get in there we where not even greeted, but we could feel their eyes on us, now where in there for no more than half an hour, just walking around and looking. Mariah is currently looking at nail supplys and points out this cute henna tattoo kit. So I'm looking at it talking with Mariah how cool it would be to do this, and if I could practice it on her. So me deciding I'm gonna get it, we look around some more before going to head out. We are looking at some LA girl matte lip gloss when I look at the price and decide I wasn't gonna pay 15 bucks for the kit, that I would wait. So I go back and set it down where I found it. Mariah decided not to get the lipstick she wanted so we head out. We leave and don't even get 20 feet away from the store when this girl come running out, accusing us of stealing. Wich is ironic because the entire time we could tell they where watching us, and even at one point the where looking at us and whispering to each other. Now shocked Mariah and I look at each other and we are thinking, "Really?". The girl continues to stand there asking if we stole the kit. I look at her and tell her no, that I put it back, she continues to stand there and stare at us. At this point were a bit uncomfortable with her just standing there. So she asked us again where I so called put it back, and I tell her I put it near the nail kit and she shot us a look and stormed off. Now normally I wouldn't care, but it was very rude of them, to not once greet us, two stare the entire time we where in there and three just accuse us of plain stealing when they where watching us the entire time.
