Thoroughly trained, great conversationalists, care about what you want with your head, all of the good things. I'd recommend Lilly to anybody! She does a fabulous haircut, is a great shampooer, gentle, and precise. If you need color services, especially blonding, I believe that's her specialty! This is definitely the place to come in Birmingham if you're wanting to do something a little bit out of the ordinary. Lots of the stylists are versed in bright colors and edgier cuts. Parking seems like it would be hard, but I've always been able to pull into a little spot on the side. This is a great, convenient location! The owner told me on the phone to do a dry style instead. Which is when I wash at home the morning or night before and come in for just a style. And for my makeup I was also very hesitant. Especially because of my skin tone and I wanted to have a very natural look. Daniella did my makeup. She asked me many questions to make sure she understood the concept I was going for. She was very gentle with the makeup. And was a perfectionist. She has the passion to do makeup and enjoyed it which made the service much more enjoyable. She did a natural tone makeup and didn't have problems with my lashes! It looked great. Maddy did my hair, and my curls stayed on all through my photoshoot and the next day! I couldn't believe it! I would definitely make this my go to place for hair and makeup for my events.

I used it but was on the road and when I asked it to change my appointment to 30 minutes earlier, I assumed it would keep the same date. My appointment was for October, the text confirmed my October date but then it rescheduled me for the next day (in July). It did ask me to confirm but I was focused on the time - and never assumed it would change my October appointment to July!!! Well it did and then they charged me the full amount for my appointment when I didn't show up - $140! The owner told me I was out of luck and did nothing to help. Completely refused to acknowledge the misunderstanding. Terrible customer service! Will never be going back and will be sure to tell everyone I know not to do business with them!

She does everything from a minimum "no makeup" look to straight out glam. As she did my makeup, we had a nice conversation. She was pleasant and professional. When she was done, I liked how my makeup looked great, but it didn't look or feel caked on. I'd definitely recommend her and I'd definitely use her again for makeup services in the future!

The address listed on Yelp was correct, the shop is located next to a pet store. There is a small sign that says Coco Moore Makeup in the window of the shop. I was able to schedule an appointment online on the owners website. Her website was very helpful in deciding which look you wanted to go for.She also does weddings, and makeup training tutorial classes. There is a $5 discount for your birthday and she gives you the option to pay before or after the appointment. During my appointment there was no one else waiting so I was the only person there. Also, she cleaned all of her makeup equipment in front of me before use. Coco was very friendly and professional. She was also very patient and even asked what I liked and didn't like. I went for the Soft and Sweet Mini Enhancement. I loved her work!! I definitely will come back!

They are more sparse than most and I prefer them to be tweezed versus waxed or threaded. I know it can take a little longer, but April was more than happy to oblige and I was elated with the results. She finished them off with also a light make-up application; just the way I like them, with a soft powder make-up application. I really appreciated her asking me what I preferred rather than just apply a heavy style of make-up. She's lovely!
