Jiffy Lube prices have gone up a lot since the last time I visited one. Chum found a way to get me a discount. The higher priced synthetic oil options were offered but no hard sell tactics. This location has no vacuum so they can't do everything on the list of what's supposed to be included, though the window cleaning was done. I'm told they've been trying in vain to have one provided. The location is owned by a franchise called "Indiana Jiffy Lube" which tells me this poor little Ohio cousin doesn't get much attention. But it's fast and friendly and you'll leave with a happy road trip ready car.

We had some bad weather and he stated that they needed until Wednesday to complete the job. I paid him $40 for diagnostics and then $150 for the tow. Then sent $550 for parts. I also got a rental for 5 days through budget rent a car which cost me 500$ Wednesday came and it wasn't done. He said it would be done Thursday. I got the rental another day. Another $68 and $15 extension fee. Friday came and he said it's still not done. So after a week I have paid over 1k and it's not done. He promised it would be done the following Tuesday by 8pm. I returned rental that morning. At 9pm when he didn't show up he texted that he was done but there was still an oil leak. WHAT!!!!! He said he had parts and needed until Monday. Monday morning I asked him if it was going to be completed as promised and he said no. He needed til Wednesday. So 13 days he has had my car and it's in the same condition. I just had enough and sent a tow truck to their shop to get my car. When tow truck arrived it was at someone's house. They told me it was a mechanic shop. It's a random house on a sketchy neighborhood and my car sitting in front untouched with snow covering it still. He misled me as he had a shop. He just paid google bc he was the first to pop up. I trusted him and he lied several times. I am now at a mechanic shop hats legit and have had to get ANOTHER rental car for the week. Nightmare experience…read more Went to fix low battery charge and air-conditioning problems. When picking up the car after having paid the repair, I noticed that a red warning light on the dashboard was glaringly on. Went back to discuss with the manager. He flatly said that the light was on when they first moved the car into the workshop. He hooked up the car with an electronic device and told me there were a bunch of problems, including a malfunctioning electronic thermostat. Largely the car was not safe to drive. They charged me $42 for checking. Fixing the thermostat would be a $500 plus job. Took the car home. Fining out the battery was still not charging properly a few days later. Went back to ask them to re-fix the problem they should have fixed before. The manager was not there but they could charge the battery overnight. When I picked up the car, they handed me another bill for charging the battery. They were pretty mad after I refused to pay. Got into the car, the red warning light was off. Apparently, the red warning light was triggered during the repair - most likely when the battery became critically low. Went back again to ask them to fix the battery charge problem. They rudely refused. They told me that the battery charge problem was due to the other problems I had and they recommended to go to see a dealer. I let them know there were no other problems. The red warning light was due to low battery charge. The other problems were their misdiagnosis. Days later, the air-conditioner stopped working as well. All in all, I spent about $400 to have loads of headaches and none of the problems fixed.
