We ate during August,…read moreso everything is almost closed in the area as La Frasca is located outside from the touristic center and probably the performance was affected by the period in which we visited. Food was ok, nothing special or anything, cakes were quite bland, bill on the opposite side was rather high for what we had. Might give it a second chance in a busier period.

It counts a single wide room with a long table and a few little ones, but it is the entrance with the open air kitchen just at the centre of the place that is awesomely nice! The menu varies a few choices each week, of course as a lot of Italian places, ingredients are subjected to the season. I ate a home made tagliolini pasta with broad beans and clams, a marinated salted codfish over a bed of spinach with Taggiasche olives, superb, and a chocolate cake with chili, all superbly accompanied by a very nice white wine. Really liked the vibe of this place, I will definitely come back for more gourmet dishes!

Typically I'm expecting normal bread and I'll eat one piece, but my brother and I ate two servings (one with the appetizer). Got the cold cuts and cheese. It came with four meats, three cheeses, and two types of honey. Everything served was delicious. For the meal, I ordered rabbit, which I've never had before. It had a sauce (not sure exactly what was in it), olives, and cheese. It was also fantastic. Only drawback was a few small bones that I had to eat around. Typically I would not get dessert, but everything was great so far so I ordered the chocolate chili cake. Again, very good. All in all, they know what they're doing here. Menu is definitely different than most, but the food they served was great.

I am a big fan of Illy coffee brand and the staff is super friendly and fast. It gets super busy in here during the lunch rush hour 12:30-2pm, but before or after it's really chill and I always find a spot. They also offer a variety of sweets, but personally nothing that great. I recently tried their veggie mini-panini which consisted of cheese and spinach and it was really good. Great place to come and wait on a Questura day (it's nearby) ... just don't miss your ticket number ; (

Whenever I'm Tuscany I make sure to visit my friend Mirko. He is a joy to see and never disappoints on the dining front. Food is always fresh and flavorful. Location is great fir people watching. And the wine. Omg. The wine list. I challenge any restaurant in Tuscany to compare. It is intensely stocked with all Italian veritable. Including a wide array of my favorite brunellos. Great to spend an evening again in Siena with our family at la loggia.
