I finally did it and could not be happier! After having some time to really think about whether I wanted to go through with a breast augmentation procedure, I finally decided I was ready. I called the office and Delilah was more than happy to assist me again. The office was able to get me into my pre-op literally 2 weeks after I called and 2 weeks thereafter I was ready for surgery. All of the points previously stated in my first review are all still true. The office ladies are wonderful and so so sweet! And can't forget to mention that Dr. Kilaru has the most amazing bedside manner. I am writing this review, as Dr. Kilaru saved my life. Dr. Kilaru, figures out your body and systems to find the answers. He is absolutely amazing. I had a double mastectomy and a flap, to include my own fat to create breasts. This was done in August of 2019. Everything went well. Then in January 2023, I admitted myself to Washington hospital ER. My left side of my upper female area, was enlarged with liquid. I was in pain and no energy. The ER doctor, lanced the tennis ball sized mass in 2 places. There was an infection in my body. He said to see my surgeon, Dr. Kilaru the next day. ER doctors had me in antibiotics IV, and had my RX filled. Dr.Kilaru examined the infection. Was very unusual. This infection should not be happening after 3.5 years after surgery? Dr. Changed to a stronger antibiotic. After 10 days on antibiotics, several days later, the infection was still draining. Since I had my lymph nodes removed on 2019, my immune system is compromised. Dr. Kilaru figured out my healing system. I finally was on my 3 Rd round of antibiotics. Dr. Kilaru scheduled the surgery, when my immune system was still on antibiotics to tame the infection, so it was safe to have surgery. Dr. Kilaru said that my infection was not tamed before, so he could not remove the infection in the beginning, because sepsis could set in from the out of control infection. So, he went with alternate plan B. During surgery, Dr. Kilaru said, it was a mess in there. There were 2 more infections, so a total of 3 infections were located in the scar tissue with no where to drain. Dr. Kilaru said that no one has heard of this happening before. I can't say enough about the great work he does. Makes everyone laugh with his humor. He listens to everything you say. I am now going back to work. Plastic Surgery is no joke and neither is Dr. Kilaru! I've had 3 different procedures done by Dr. Kilaru in two different surgeries. Dr. Kilaru is thorough, precise, talented, Real and a "Magician"! I arrived to Dr Kilaru with a necrosis tip of a finger that a paramedic insisted on stitching back after a home accident. It was a week old and incredibly painful. Dr Kilaru amazed me with his professionalism and expertise! (I did see 3 other doctors during that week and none of them had anything remotely close to his knowledge). He took me into an amputation surgery right away. Not only him but everyone in his staff were so compassionate and caring, and most of all on the spot professionals! 5 months after surgery and I am healed beyond anything anyone could have expected for such a short time. I really wish I could give more then one star. In my opinion one star is very thoughtful for the experience I went through. I got attacked by a dog. And went to my doctor. Who said I had nerve and soft tissue damage. My doctor bandaged my arm and gave me a referral for the next day. The day of my appointment I arrived at 12:00 pm on the dot. My appointment was was scheduled for 12:30. There was one client ahead of me. I have no issues waiting for my scheduled appointment. My main concern is I can not use my left hand at all. At 1pm. After 2 clients were seen before me. Who stated that there appointment times were after mine. They were both seen before me. I was doomed at 12:55. At 12:56 I heard a women coming from the front desk say the doctor needed to leave by one pm. I asked if that meant he would only be seeing me for four minutes. She said NO. And assured me he would see me regardless of how long it took. My doctor instructed me not to get x rays that doctor kilaru would take them. At 12:57 doctor kilaru walked in asked for medical history he put on gloves and looked over my shoulder at my hand. He said come back in a week. I asked why? He was on his phone texting as I gave medical history. He said he needs to look at it again. I walked out three if not four minutes after being seen by him. I told him I will not be back. He didn't care enough to look at the hand. LITERALLY DID NOT TOUCH IT. Refused to offer me medication for pain. I can't move my hand. He's a hand surgeon isn't he? I'm filling a complaint with my insurance as we speak. I should not have to pay for a doctor to enjoy a text conversation . I recommend you never come here read more

Dr Kilaru is amazing. I'm so thankful for his skilled hands . I've had two cosmetic procedures with dr Kilaru in the last 7 years. The first was liposuction of the mid to lower back with liposuction of the arms 2012. My first procedure was less than 3 hours and I'm recovery was a dream. I was super pleased With my results. Over the years I gained a lot of weight due to many reasons but I still kept my shape. In 2018 I started a keto diet and lost 65 pounds with caused my arms to look like deflated ballon which I despised. I decided it was time to go back to my favorite reconstructive plastic surgeon Dr.kilaru. It was super easy to make my appointment for consultation (his office staff is amazing) we discussed my options for incisions and also liposuction of my abdominal area. I felt super comfortable with dr Kilaru considering your showing someone your most embarrassing imperfections (no body shaming here) I was so excited I booked my surgery before leaving the office . Once again his office staff is the bomb. Super helpful and super sweet. I just love Delilah she ordered my garments for post surgery even sent me a list of lymphatic providers. Surgery went amazing about 4hours and again no complications anesthesiologists was great. Staff at Washington out patient surgery center were awesome. No complaints here. I went home and had a really smooth recovery. Not much pain. Took meds for about 4 days. Fast forward 3 months later. I'm still healing it doing great even though they say 6 months is normal for recovery after a arm lift. But I went back to work after 3 weeks. Working out after 8. Ive been sleeping in a recliner to keeping my arms elevated. (Which a purchased for this procedure) to keep the swelling in my hands down. I feel like that's my only downfall side of the procedure but other than that I've been great and I'm super happy with my results. oh and I no longer have to wear deodorant which is a added bonus (. My abdominal liposuction made a worked of a difference waist was 37 before. Currently 34 bra strap was 40 now 37. I'm super happy. After my procedures I got 6 lymphatic massages which helped with swelling and my scars. I'm just 100 percent happy with everything I love dr Kilaru and his beautiful staff. I'm thinking of getting a breast lift and one more round of liposuction to the abdomen and upper back fat. I recommend anyone one to visit dr Kilaru's practice you won't be disappointed read more

Had a revision surgery to create more symmetry of my breast implants on 9/1/17. Having had radiation on one side for breast cancer, it's hard to get symmetry when you first have implants put in. You need to wait a few months after the initial surgery to see the end results because the radiated side is stiffer and you need to give it time for the other non-radiated side settles in. 10 stars! I'm very pleased with the look! And the staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Dr. Kilaru! read more

I waited 18 months to write this review. After much research online I decided to go with this place to have a small cyst removed on my right cheek. Initial appointment and consultation went fine. Dr. Kilaru checked and was convincing and recommended a simple surgery. The surgery was straightforward. Dr. Kilaru did the surgery himself. To my surprise I found Dr. left the suture - the most important part, to his assistant. My face was covered during surgery and by the time I realized the assistant was working on the suture, it was too late. I was quite unhappy to find the Dr. left the critical final step to an assistant. This was never communicated during consultation. You would expect the doctor to perform the entire procedure start to end. That wasn't the case here - to me, this amounts to blatant cheating. Had I known the doctor wasn't going to perform suture, I would have never let someone else put their hands on me. In follow up visits I mentioned the wound is not closing as expected. I got an earful of the usual disclaimer about no guarantee, every patient is different etc. etc. As the wound healed, to my dismay I found the skin parted wide and caused deep pockets where the cut was made. Also lumps formed around the cut. In subsequent visits the Dr.realized how bad the plastic surgery job ended up and suggested another surgery to fix the problem. I have been through the experience once - never going to put myself through this Dr. ever again. I would caution new patients to take the negative reviews seriously. I ignored negative reviews and put myself through the process and ended up with a permanent scar which is worse than the cyst I had. read more

I had a bad wrist break after falling off my horse. I had 2 surgeries at Kaiser in Sacramento and lost feeling and control of my right hand. Just finished having carpal tunnel release surgery on both hands (one at a time). I have minimal scarring, which is very nice, only about two inches long at the base of my palms. The pain and pins & needles feelings I was having is completely gone. My hands after 6 weeks are completely functional again - I can crochet, knit and type on a keyboard. Fine motor skills are improving every day. The muscles needed for using chopsticks, quilting or writing are not painful anymore - just a little tired and weak. Dr. Kilaru has assured me that these muscles will get stronger and stronger until they are back to full use. He has been very reassuring. I would give 10 stars if I could. 5 years ago, I inquired about breast augmentation where Dr. Prasad Kilaru was one of the doctors I consulted with. At that point in my life, I was not entirely ready for the surgery for many reasons. Fast forward years later when I DID decide that breast augmentation would be ideal for me at this time, I started going to consultations again. The other doctors that I met with were okay... the before & after pictures were impressive and the office personal were very informative. But there was something about the doctors themselves that seemed so rehearsed, generic and not very personable. I remembered my meeting with Dr. Kilaru 5 years prior and decided to give his office a call again. I then spoke with Delila (who is AMAZING by the way) and she set up a time for me to come back in and meet with the doctor. When I came in to meet with Dr. Kilaru, he was so upbeat and was so adamant about giving me exactly what I wanted. He took his time to help me decide what would look best with my body frame and explained everything so thoroughly. I did not nearly feel as comfortable with the other doctors as I did with him. He was so honest about the pro's and con's and did not try to convince me of unrealistic results. I had my mind set on 450cc's (per other doctors) hoping that would bring my small B cup to a full D. Going from 310lbs to 195-205lbs is no small feet. Takes a lot of falling and faith over 15+ years. After I 1st started to recognize the changes from Jiu Jitsu and working with my chiropractor and personal trainer, recognized something would be necessary to remove the excess. It wasn't because he was Indian, I was sold on him the moment he said, "I want you to lose as much weight as possible and then comeback and have the surgery." .... He made of leap of faith and I kept coming ... he encouraged me to get in the best shape I could ... And between January to ultimately August 2013 when I had surgery.... That's exactly what happened. The recovery was brutal to get back in "Jiu Jitsu shape". The following year during the same timeframe due to "a special purpose" ... I broke a finger (mallet finger with avulsion) and was asked to see Dr. Kilaru. The finger would not straighten and was in quite a lot of pain. The doctor is very competent at his work and compassionate with his patients, answering all questions while maintaining an unassuming air and avoiding invasive procedures when he can -- letting mother nature take her own wise course. The good doctor will show the patient the progress in a series of X-rays. I know exactly how my broken bone looks on the inside this week. He is assisted by a small but very able group of soft spoken,ethereal angels who help in every possible way except the medicine itself. For example, I got stuck in traffic once and Maria postponed my appointment telling me she has experienced 880 traffic herself. The traffic jam was quite a pleasant experience! My finger is moving rapidly toward recovery, an ironic figure of speech given that it is completely bound in a cast. Anyhow, I will be better soon. read more

My husband cut his finger off and after he had went to the emergency and they sewed it back on and then they referred him to Dr. Kilaru. My husband went to his office to see him the next day and the dr was in a hurry and didn't even spend 3 mins with him looking at his finger. He told him to wait 2 weeks to see him again because he was leaving to India the next day. It seemed that he was in a hurry and only worrying about his trip. He was texting the entire time during the appointment. When we left he told him that he would be out of town but if there was anything he needed to call the office and someone would help him. The next day we call the office because his finger started to turn black. (Not to mention he didn't give him any instructions on how to care for it nor if it was to turn a different color what he should do.) we call the office to see if he can see a dr and they told him to text pics of his finger so they can send it to the dr in India. The receptionist said for him to go back to the ER ( well The ER are not specialist so they are not going to be much help which is why they referred him to a hand specialist in the first place) We didn't hear back from the office till 3 days later and his advice was to wait two weeks till he comes back. What a fricken joke this dr is and his advice. How do you expect my husband to wait 2 weeks in pain and not sure if the finger can be saved or if it's dead. We ended up finding another dr. I recommend if you want a good dr who is actually there for their patients I would not go to Dr. Kilaru. Find someone else he don't care about his patients. read more
