This created a big problem for many who were properly trained and certified who graduated with legitimate professional nursing and medical career degrees. The school was properly accredited and put a lot of very well trained individuals out in the healthcare community. Unfortunately the legal issues the school ran into created large problems for the certified graduates to continue education and move up in their career. It is really a shame that so many students worked so hard and were cheated out of the credit and continued documentation and certification for their years of education. Olympia no longer exists and now is Everest college. The main school was called Corinthian Colleges. I hope the graduates that were students of the term with 4.0 gpa's were able to succeed beyond the devastating legal issues this school has had that failed their hard working, well trained and educated students.

This review is specifically for the M.S. Marketing Analytics (MAX) program. I cannot speak…read morepersonally to their Sustainability, MBA or (internationally-ranked) finance programs. I am writing this as a part-time, domestic graduate student who works full time and is partially employer-reimbursed but also paying out of pocket. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend the M.S. MAX program as the curriculum stands today. The first few courses that are supposed to give a good introduction into modern business (BUS 510) the quantitative world of business analysis (BUS 550) did not have the depth or content to prepare students for the more rigorous courses ahead, leaving the professor and student limited time and resources to fill the gap. Overall, these courses fell well short of the nearly $5,000 worth of tuition assessed for each one. Some of the courses did provide more rigor and direction including a course on customer value, database and marketing engineering. The biggest concern I have from this school is the lack of career resources. If the main goal of the program is to prepare students for impactful careers, then the networks and informational opportunities leave a large gap that does not justify the time and cost that the program demands. The school will use in their informational flyers that the M.S. MAX program is the first of it's kind in the country. But just because it is the first, doesn't make it the best. Before making the multiyear and significant financial commitment to this marketing program, I suggest doing research on other programs to make sure you get the best return and result for your time and money.

The Environmental Science course is great too.Good part is that it's located in the Downtown which makes it easier for working professionals to study part time and the Faculty here is also comprised majorly of people who are working professionals and have the right idea of the market. The only thing that I didn't like was the lack of recorded online lectures which made it necessary to attend all lectures and remember every word spoken by the professors in those two-and a half hour classes. Otherwise.. its a great to school to be in if you really wanna stay ahead in the financial world. I would also mention that the Finance course is a little trading oriented too. More courses can be found related to trading then any other specialisation.

Myself and my doctor kept calling for the results and they said that they have to receive a release form from me and my doctor so we filled it out and sent it in. We talked to Rebecca over and over and they apologized for the poor service yet there were still no results. After they received the release for the results they looked up the doctor and said she wasn't a legitimate doctor (which is not true and she is a licensed doctor). It is now January and we still don't have the bone scan. Terrible terrible service.

But after our visit, our then 10th grader, who first would not get out of the car, said that she liked that visit the best. We were also told O school would be a great fit for our child by someone at the Moran Center who was extremely perceptive and experienced and RIGHT! It took us a long time to get there and we had to jump through way too many hoops, but we made it! The entire staff, are all completely committed to their work. The teachers all find a way to connect with the students and truly meet them where they are, through thick and thin. Same is true with the parents. We were new to navigating this journey and I felt like everyone at the O School always had our best interests in mind. Even if a particular decision or situation was hard to hear, in the end, it was always the right one. We can't thank the O School enough for standing beside us, in front of us and behind us, every step of the way. A++++++

Usually, I visit the Peterson location, but visited the 38th/Halsted location because it's closer to home. Don't let the stockyard, industrial location scare you off, or confuse you. The entrance is to the left of the Aquired Taste storefront, on the right of the entrance at there is a keypad to call to gain entrance/buzzed in. Earl is the best CPR instructor hands down. The children who attend the school are from people who never left the neighborhood. If your child or you yourself are not from the neighborhood and do not drink the kool-aid you and your children will be treated poorly and graded poorly. The school does not encourage diversity, the staff is not diversified. The staff is comprised of mostly people from the area. Many parents are entitled police and fireman with the gangsta in a uniform mentality, which in turn the children mimic. This in turn makes the school environment hostile for children, who are learning intolerance for people different than them. Instead of being sensitive and aware of the problem, the leadership is more concerned about their hyper inflated ego and the fact responses are to conflict are threatening to you and your child's education. The best one I heard was "I am responsible for the largest school in the Archdiocese" and I personally, and I..I..I. No addressing situations that cause concern for your child. Just I..I..I. There are a few great teachers who do not deserve this review. There are others that I question their mental fitness to work with our youth. In one instance I questioned a grade for my child who loves school, and my child was torn down, made accusations against, and our family was torn down with my child. All for noticing a grading discrepancy. Don't expect anything less than South Side drama here.
