Before the visit, we were told the gas line would be tested (including bubble testing). When the technician arrived, the visit lasted under 10 minutes and consisted mainly of conversation. No bubble test, pressure test, or diagnostic equipment was used during that visit. We were billed $99, and the invoice stated the "gas line is fine," despite no testing being performed at that time. After we raised concerns, follow-up communication acknowledged that: * The odor appeared to be coming from the rear vents of the oven * Ricco's Plumbing does not work on appliances * We should contact TECO for further evaluation Given the seriousness of potential gas or carbon monoxide issues, we expected a more thorough diagnostic approach during the initial visit.
