I called them a few years ago and they said it was some parts inside the transmission. Anyway, I procrastinated about it. So, I called them a few weeks ago and they said to bring it by and they would hook a small handheld machine to it and check the codes. The mechanic said it was 4 or 5 solenoids inside that needed to be replaced. He said he has done lots of repairs on this issue and that he could fix it. Anyway, he fixed my transmission problem and I am very glad that I brought my car here for him to fix it. I highly recommend this mechanic if your transmission is not changing over like it is supposed to.

Absolutely ridiculous Along with a few small requests I had given to the team member at the front. Like "can you torque my lugs down & on the passenger side my skid plate is falling off, can you please zip tie it back up" neither of these things were done. The excuse for the lug nuts was "the technician did not have a torque wrench...." And when I asked about the skid plate the front desk team member apologized and said he forgot to tell the technician. He handed me zip ties and I went down the road to grease monkey where I was kindly greeted and they zip tied my skid plate for me and didn't charge. I will be pursuing a claim with you guys and will recommend to all my family and friends to never give service to Firestone. Absolutely livid P.S I am a 6 year ASE certified technician. I worked very hard for my certifications and worked in multiple shops and have worked in the customer service side of these shops and the way I was treated at this location is unacceptable. UPDATE: This incident happened Monday July 10th. I immediately went back to the shop and had the manager write down my information and was told the district manager would reach out to me for a refund & to file a claim. I also same day submitted a claim over the phone. It is now Thursday July 13th and have heard absolutely nothing. Great to see that a big company like this is taking huge steps to get this resolved...

At a recent visit for alignment and tire rotation, the manager lost my key fob. Turns out he left it in another customer's car who returned the fob weeks later. The manager offered to reimburse me for the fob but, when I informed him that I would have to travel out of town to the nearest dealership for a replacement, he was adamant that he could not reimburse my loss of time and advised me to contact Corporate. No offer to assist with Corporate or even provide a contact at Corporate. I contacted Corporate and was further disappointed. The one voice to voice contact I received was from someone claiming to be assisting the Regional Manager. This contact told me, 'she could not give me everything I wanted and that I would have to meet her halfway'. When I declined and informed her halfway does not even cover the cost of the fob, she advised she would have to get back with me. I never heard from her again, or anyone, until after I requested the State Consumer Affairs assist me. Payment in full received last week.

I got everything I wanted in the deal, fantastic trade in value, amazing interest rate, and monthly payments that would not break the bank. Fast forward to mid November when my service engine light came on...that is when the nightmare began! It took the Service Department 2 weeks with zero communication from them to fix the problem. I was told it was mice damage, one had chewed through the wiring. As soon as I got home that day I called my contracted exterminator who came out the next day and found absolutely zero evidence of mice inside or outside of my home! Fast forward to March 2025, my brand new vehicle left me stranded and I had to call roadside assist. No one every actually communicated to me what the problem or fix was. On trying to speak with someone last week my phone call repeatedly kept rerouting through the receptionist because no one in the Service Department was answering. By the time I did finally get someone on the phone I immediately told him who I was and what I was calling about. He got extremely belligerant and kept talking over me, to the point I lost my cool and told him to go F himself and hung up. This special little man took the time and effort to call me back "to return the favor". Needless to say I did not give the satisfaction. The second he said favor I knew where it was going. Imagine my surprise on learning it was David, the Manager!! On contacting Ford Customer Care I found out that Service Letters had gone to all dealerships in September about updating the ABS and gear shift modules. That should have been done before I ever drove of the lot with my new vehicle, but it was not. Nor was it done at the next service, which led to the third service! The incompetence of Cannon Ford of Cleveland's Service Department is the reason my gear shift module failed and I was left stranded.
