I have almost no pain or swelling what so ever! You will hear all kinds of horrible stories if you have to have this done. One I heard was I would have to sleep with my head over a trash can to let it drain. I could go on with them. Needless to say, if I did have any teeth left and it had to come out I would definitely go back to Dr. Starr do my work! I would give negative stars if it was possible. Dr. Scott Powers did these denture implants (see…read morephotos). First the metal posts he implanted didn't stay, so he had to re-drill 4 of them. Then he tried to convince to use the temporary dentures instead of making the permanent ones that were already paid for. The permanent dentures that he eventually had made have broken and cracked several times. At least 8 teeth have fallen out (I've lost count). The implants come out by just using the tongue, no hands needed. Not even able to eat corn on the cobb. All of this in less than 5 years. I would not recommend Dr. Powers, check out his work and decide yourself.
