David is professional and thorough, and has helped me navigate several technical and complex legal issues in negotiations and in court. He has also reviewed documents from an attorney I hired prior to him, and helped me navigate the negative consequences of a poorly drafted separation agreement. In addition to his technical expertise, David has taken the time and care to really understand me and my family so that he keeps our core values and priorities in mind at all times. He does a great job explaining all of my options to me, giving me his recommendation, then giving me room to process and make a decision. I know that I will have his full support no matter which route I decide to take, and that he will always advocate for me. I have felt truly understood and cared for, and that I have sound, accurate legal advice whenever I need it.

After years of representation and substantial fees, my experience did not match what they promote. I retained Sodoma Law for an interstate child‑support matter. My case proceeded all the way through a trial, where it was confirmed that my child support should increase from $98 a month to $865 a month, along with arrears. After years of litigation, preparation, and expense, this outcome should have been the resolution of my case. Instead, the most serious failure occurred afterward: my child‑support modification was ultimately **dismissed for lack of subject‑matter jurisdiction**. Because the matter involved UIFSA and an out‑of‑state order, a proper jurisdictional analysis should have been done at the very beginning--long before trial, long before years of litigation, and long before tens of thousands of dollars were spent. Instead, I pursued a modification North Carolina could not legally decide. At no point during those years did anyone at the firm communicate that jurisdiction was uncertain, that the modification might not stick, or that there was any risk the court lacked authority to decide the case. There was no warning, no strategic discussion, and no indication that the entire effort could collapse. I only learned of the jurisdictional problem when the court dismissed the motion outright. This was especially devastating because the trial outcome had already established a significantly higher support amount and arrears. None of that could be finalized because the jurisdictional foundation was never properly addressed. Sodoma Law also promotes strong communication and client support, but my experience was the opposite. Shortly before important proceedings, the firm moved to withdraw and stated in their own motion that I should not expect a continuance despite being left without counsel. They will leave you high and dry without any concern. I also discovered that my client file was incomplete. Only after I questioned it did the firm acknowledge that documents had been "inadvertently not copied over" and then added additional materials. For a firm that advertises meticulous case management, this was troubling. Most concerning of all, when I raised fee‑related disputes connected to the jurisdictional error, *he firm simply stopped responding. Navigating the consequences of their mistake became a long, difficult, and unnecessarily burdensome process--one I had to manage alone, despite the substantial fees I had already paid. For a firm that markets itself as client‑focused and communicative, refusing to address fee disputes tied directly to their own error was deeply disappointing. If you are considering Sodoma Law, I strongly recommend not to.

DeMayo Law Offices, LLP only valued my life at about $32,000. I didn't choose him; my sister did…read morewhile I was still in an induced coma, fighting for my life. My jaw was practically ripped off, my femur snapped and ripped out of my leg, my sternum broke, three ribs broke, my elbow broke, I had bleeding on my brain. I have metal from head to toe, including plates holding my elbow together, plates in my head and jaw, metal rods that were driven in the full length of my leg. I feel that leg is shorter now and I have a limp I'm having to learn to live with. My entire quality of life has taken an abrupt turn. I worry profusely now. I'm alive but spend many of my days in tears because I can no longer convince myself I'll have a future worth living. I worry about blood clots since I got them in the hospital and had to be treated for them for 3 months. I worry about brain bleeding. I worry about everything and anything taking me out when at one time I thought I was invincible. DeMayo took $30,000 for himself and left about $37,000 to go towards medical bills. My bills have amounted to almost 2 million dollars. I have 3 insurances which have been paying off every bit of it, leaving roughly $26,000 to my dentist and $15,000 for the helicopter ride from when I had to be immediately airlifted to one of the biggest hospitals in the state. That measly $37,000 should have went to me. I have no clue what they felt wasn't going to be paid but they made sure the money was spent on something, but not me. They claimed it was ethical. So then they try suing my sister's insurance to try and get me more. Talk about unethical! My sister had nothing to do with anything. I had to pull the plug on that one; my sister was fuming. They blame me for my insurance lapsing the month before. Why should that matter? I didn't do anything wrong. Someone didn't see me and almost killed me. That shouldn't affect my own insurance. I see them bragging about getting people hundreds of thousands more than originally offered, and those were from people with only a fraction of the injuries I received. DeMayo did me dirty. Very dirty. I couldn't find any good reviews when I first looked them up. I talked to a couple people in the county who were also ripped off who told me to run. I was told they'd still require their fees even if I went with someone else. I wish I could wash my hands of this whole episode. This whole experience has left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Everything wound up more expensive than I anticipated and as hard as I tried hanging on to the tiny bit of compensation DeMayo felt my life was worth, credit card debt and loan payments ate it all away. I'm worried I may have to file for bankruptcy soon. DeMayo was entrusted with my life and they let me down. I hope they enjoy getting as much as I did despite them not almost dying. I hope they're proud of themselves for paying out a measly $37,000 when they're lucky the remaining 2 million got paid through other means. I'm sure that $37,000 would have gotten paid, just like the remainder of my 2 million dollars worth of bills. I can no longer do half the stuff I used to and am going to be forced to try and find a small job, whether I'm well enough or not. DeMayo ensured that. They ensured Christmas will be bad for me. They ensured they'll be living high on the hog while I spend the rest of my days suffering. I don't wish ill on them, but I will never in my life recommend them to anyone. I'm just waiting on their letter to show where all the money went since my MyChart only shows a $386 payment from the attorneys. Thanks for ruining my life guys. Hope y'all feel really good about yourself. Hope y'all sleep good at night knowing you value my life at so little. Hope you enjoy spending money you didn't earn nor deserve. Thanks for cheating me out of a decent quality of life. Trust me, I'll never forget you, nor will I ever give up trying to ensure you never get business again. 1 out of 10 stars. Will not recommend. Ever.

It can take some time to resolve things, as we all know the Charlotte court system can take years, even for what turned out to be a frivolously written infraction. RTS took the stress out of the situation by clearly explaining the process, options, and ensuring we worked towards a good outcome, with respect, honesty, and integrity. A special shout out to Will, Jenna, and Lisa. I felt like I had a team behind me all the way.

The lady took all my information down said I'll receive a call back " MOMENTARILY ". It's been a little over a month ONCE AGAIN still nothing !! Called today requesting an update the lady couldn't give me any type of information other than "You're already in the queue for a call back" a queue??? For 2 months??? I HAVE COURT IN 2 WEEKS! The lady couldn't help and didn't seem empathetic just gave her scripted apology and wouldn't answer anything else.
