I book out full days most of the time, and the rates are very reasonable. Short sessions are available, rates a slightly higher. Most of my recording work has been with their in-house engineer Erik, but I have also worked with Matt, Cal (former) and Sean (former). All characters in their own right with much insight, and many useful suggestions (tone choices, amp choices, mic placement etc). Erik's "sound profile" tends to coincide well with mine, we have a mutual interest in classic, warm analog recordings, so I generally work with him. They have excellent spaces, well tuned and diverse enough to create some distinct and unique sounds. I am a big fan of the Yamaha grand piano, and Studio A is superb for mix work and critical playback. Studio B is good for light mix work, and it's a bit cheaper. The key to success in any recording studio is getting what you want out of the completed product. Studio time is expensive, and not getting what you hoped for can be very frustrating (trust me, it sucks!) I have had no problem getting exactly what I wanted, for a decent price with killer engineers. I'm very picky, and this place is great.

The equipment is easy to use and taped off with instructions and they have an on call phone number in the event of an issue on that occurs over the weekend when they are closed. I picked up my rentals on Friday and had them until Monday and the price was so reasonable! We saved a TON of money by not having a DJ and this was such a good solution. The entire process was very smooth and Krusty was great to work with. You get an equipment demonstration during pickup. We have no issues and everything looked and sounded great! I highly recommend!

Gearing up for a wedding ceremony and reception to follow was a simple matter for the Applied crew. They turned around a quote quickly with a detailed equipment list, which helped me get approval from the wedding party for the quote and the set up. Gear was prepped on time for pickup at the shop (go walk around the shop, it's a cool place!) and Andy helpfully labelled the gear and gave me a quick walk-through to be sure we had everything. The equipment and cases made set-up and tear-down fast, efficient, kept wear and tear to minimum. The ceremony set up was a real positive for being outside on a windy day - no problem hearing every word in the back row. Wish I had another stage or music event planned, I'd work with this crew again before going anywhere else.

From the gorgeous rose bushes out front, fresh wood accents inside, warm string lights and greenery inside, to the tree-lined backyard with vibrant fall foliage, it was the perfect mood and atmosphere for my fall wedding. The staff were great and Tammy was so helpful throughout the planning process. She made accommodations to work with a vendor that needed to make a drop off during non-event hours. The drinks were made well at the bar and they started a fire for us outside despite the fact that it had been a rainy day, and so many guests enjoyed making smores at the end of the night. The wedding package also includes a sparkler send off which we enjoyed. We had about 65 guests and it was the perfect amount of space for a mostly indoor-only event. We rented our own DJ equipment and had plenty of space to set it up inside. The catering from Guiseppe's was good and our guests seemed to like it. For the price, West Creek really can't be beat. It is a cash only bar, but there is an ATM on site and the drink prices are very reasonable.
