From the moment you walk in, the staff is super nice (even to someone whose German sucks), there are plenty of classes, and they have a lot of equipment; there is always plenty of cardio available, they have all sorts of weight stations and machines to suit any workout style, and big spacious locker rooms (well, men's anyway; I assume the women's is similar). It is a tad pricy, but well worth the investment given the quality of the gym.

This gym has great equipment, high ceilings so it never feels too muggy. The air is clean and fresh. The gym does not have AC but I have not experienced a day yet where it is too hot or uncomfortable to work out. This place is a social place. If you are looking for a gym where everyone minds their own business and goes in, gets it done, and leaves, this isn't the gym for you. Post classes are full of conversations and laughter. Staff is EXCELLENT and always friendly and willing to help. Here at this Move Factory in the west they definitely understand the meaning of customer service. The instructors of the classes kick ass, and are very energizing and great motivators. The entire gym is just filled with positive energy, friendly people (for the most part) and lot of hard work. I have built a community here, met lots of my friends here, and have sculpted my body from a normal american body to a body of a spartan. I owe a lot to this gym, if it wasn't for the gym in total, I would not have been able to survive the unfriendly city of Stuttgart for as long as I did. This has been my gym for the majority of time living here in Stuttgart and I am proud to say it.

The biggest issue you have with any CrossFit program is the Coaches. Not saying the Coaches in the other Boxes I went to were bad. The Coaches at CrossFit Assault are exceptional, very well trained and have the right attitude. They focus on technique not weight, health and safety not ego. The CrossFit Assault community is a strong one with a mix of local Germans and Americans.

Recently they only allow women to the upstairs wellness, men are banished to basement haman, where there is no clear split between the textile and non textile areas. time is over to together with your girlfriends after sport to the sauna. This is a great climbing gym. The rope climbing room has top ropes, leading, cracks, via ferrata,a…read more25' high slack line, kids play area, a campus board, and some other things I'm probably forgetting. The bouldering room is bigger than the rope climbing room. It has lots of interesting and varied problems including steep areas, low angled areas, routes requiring stemming or manteling. The climbs are not super crowded together with lots of wall space left open to flag you foot out and smear. There is also a small gear shop and showers and a fitness room.

I may…read morejust be overly excited to be at a climbing gym,(as I live in a crappy town with the closest one being 3 hours away) but I really liked this one. The staff was very accommodating and polite especially since I probably sounded like a huge American douche as I didn't speak any German. It was like 10 Euros to get in if you bring gear. You don't have to sign a waiver or get belay tested because I guess in Germany by paying to get in you have accepted responsibility of know what you are doing. So that's cool. I only bouldered but the top rope look pretty cool as well. I would and will come back!

It is very clean with excellent ambience. Here you work out in luxury. Why only 4 starts? The weekend and holiday hours are horrible. This is when people have the most time to work out but the hours are very restricted. 13 to 19 in Saturdays and 10 to 16 on Parking should be included in the price of membership. If you work out 4 or 5 times a week it can get costly. Disputed the negatives, I would personally adjust at my schedule to go to the gym when possible. It is one of my favorite gyms.

Farzad, the owner is a great teacher that connects strongly to the tradition of ashtanga yoga. in yoga Mitte you have mysore classes in the morning and afternoon, and also LED classes or classes for ashtanga beginners to choose from, occasionally there are class like yoga for the back or other things, the schedule is at the reception and if you don't want to go in or the door is closed crap one from outside! the mysore classes in the morning are mainly small and Farzad has a very good eye for assisting you! he is one of the yoga teachers that has a strong hand and leads you towards a point you really want to get to. he regularly goes to workshops with great other teachers( lilo mile) and keeps himself up to date. his other teachers are great also, they are all specialists in their kind of yoga, claudia for example worked in montreal with joanne and darby. when we still lived in Germany we were at yoga Mitte a lot, also for social events, like movie nights or just anniversaries, its nice to get together with the people you practice with , as in ashtanga yoga there is not much talking , if any in class! you can take a shower after class and rent a towel for 2 euro so no need to drag stuff around, matts are also available. Farzads wife offers also massage in a beautiful room, but i never tried that! there are two yoga rooms with cork floor and a little reception, two dressing rooms with lockers and two bathrooms. there is a parking garage right across the street but i don't recommend coming with a car( although if you go for Mysore practice at 6am you don't have to pay the meters till 8am) there is a underground station literally 1 minute away, ( stadtmitte, or rotebuehlplatz) and its just so easy to walk there from the station. the place is in the center( like THE CENTER) of stuttgart and after yoga you can surly grab a coffee or something to eat close bye! i wish we would have an ashtanga place like this close to where i am, i would advance soooo quick!
