Powell Funeral Home are professionals. Kelly D. helped me and my family as we prepared for one of the saddest times in our life and she could not have been more kind and helpful. Thanks Kelly. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They allowed someone who was NOT a member of the family to make changes to the service and picture collage without notifying his next of kin (his own children) even after we told them not to. They also gave the guest book and DVD copy to this same person instead of giving it to his own children. It was an absolute nightmare to deal with and we will never be able to have another service for our father. To be excluded and ignored in the planning of your own father's funeral is a pain I wouldn't wish on anyone. Not what we wanted. Not what we paid for. They also had no explanation for any of this. No respect for the families wishes. They didn't even bring in my father's ashes to the service and left them in their van and were attempting to give them to the same unauthorized individual that they allowed to make unapproved changes to the service until we intervened. Horrible experience!! read more

They've scammed my grandmother out of $5000. They sold her a $500 policy for $5000. And they won't refund the money.
