Well, it's a fact, good branding = good business. I saw the adorably cute branding of new laundromat Powder and was *actually looking forward* to taking my clothes there.
Powder feels like a futuristic laundromat that might be found in the middle of Harajuku, rather than in Brunswick East. It's bright pink with a smashing logo and can be found beneath the apartment complex on the corner of John and Albert streets.
All the machines operate on credit/debit cards, so no need to scrounge around your house looking for 1 and 2 dollars coins - this is all tap 'n' go! WOO!
I didn't wash my clothes but it cost $4.95 for 20 minutes in the dryer. I can confirm that it will actually dry your clothes in that time, unlike many other laundromats I've been too.
