Madison helped me book a last-minute makeup appointment with McNair for a video shoot I had to do that afternoon. I loved the results, and McNair was super fun to work with -- and even took a few minutes at the end of my time with her to help me freshen up my hair style (and used products liked so much I bought them, too). just had the BEST facial I have ever had! Christina was awesome! I had the HYDRAFACIAL. From the initial phone call to being greeted, throughout the massage, and the checkout, it was all an amazing experience. Christina really took the time to actually read my paperwork and concerns before I even came in. Usually if I go to a spa of some sort they always ask me what I'm there for, even though I just wrote it on the paperwork. She knew everything! She knew that I had cystic acne and some hyperpigment in areas. My experience was more than I expected. Had a very relaxing facial, double cleansed at first, used the steamer, massage, she used warm towels, them the hydrafacial which I thought was great. No pain, it just felt like a suction along with different serums that was put on the same time. After that was done she place an LED light on my face which was cool. When she was complete, she placed some sunscreen and lip balm and eye cream. She showed me everything g that she had sectioned out of my face and I was very impressed, I thought my face was pretty clean before, boy I was wrong! I would definitely come back. The store is aptly named...Pout. 1. I was in the store for almost 15 minutes before I was spoken to (or even acknowledged). The staff was entirely too busy gossiping with another customer to greet me. Perhaps I'm invisible. 2. The atmosphere is very cold and sterile. Not user-friendly. I would've liked to see what was offered on their cosmetics bars, however the chatty staff was blocking the goods and didn't seem inclined to move out of the way. Thanks. 3. I'm a beauty junkie and I know the "what's what" on skin care & cosmetics....and I spend thousands a year on them. Sorry Pout. It'll be spending those bucks at another purveyor who gives a damn that I'm in their store. Oh, and by the way, I was told "have a nice day" as I was leaving the store. How nice. read more

I'll start off by saying that the atmosphere is gorgeous. I love the decor. However, I think their estheticians and retail employees need to go back to school. That's not to be mean, but, I spent close to $350 on products that the esthetician and sales associate suggested for me only to have my face be in the worst condition it's ever been in. When I went back to say it didn't work, they told me to try a different product. I booked a facial instead because I needed repairs. After my facial my skin was still so dry. I waited a month and went in for a hydro-facial. I thought I might of found relief but it only lasted until the next day. They suggested products that were close to $250 a product. I've never had bad skin and I was trying to continue my upkeep by buying the expensive products, utilizing the overly priced services, and now I have to go to a dermatologist. I spent close to $700 in this place only to have to spend MORE to hopefully fix it medically. Seriously, I was wishing this place would be a knock out. It's so gorgeous. Don't waste your money. read more

I love Pout. The newly designed store is so cute and they always have events, including free services where you can meet industry experts. This allows the staff to be very knowledgeable. In addition, they are very nice about scheduling last minute appointments, and they have the best spray tan service in town. How have I just now discovered POUT? I won a $75 gift card for a makeup lesson at a charity auction and finally went to try it out. If you want to buy some high-end, good quality makeup, I highly recommend you do a makeup lesson. It allows you to try before you buy AND the entire $75 is credited toward a makeup purchase. I'm makeup clueless and have sensitive, acne-prone skin, so I really needed the recommendations. Cille was great and helped me pick exactly what I needed. They have every top skin care and makeup product out there, beautifully arranged in a chic and stylish setting. I was excited to see they had a whole collection of Diptyque candles, which I didn't expect to find locally. I also learned that they offer facials and other skin treatments at Pout so I hope to go back and try their services. Another plus? You get points with every purchase, just like you would at Sephora. But this is better than your average makeup store: it's not jam-packed with people so you are able to shop comfortably with individualized attention. Can't wait to come back! read more

Although I agree that it would be a dream for anybody to be able to return make up that doesn't work well with one's skin, this return will not be possible even if you buy make up at T J Maxx. Even Sephora requires a 'gently used condition' that may be debatable. It is always a customers prerrogative to ask for a sample of the product you would like to try. They also can do a make over and you would have time to decide if to works for you. On the other hand they carry a fine selection of products that generally have a good chance of not damaging your skin. Visited this store looking for a good foundation. Was sold one that broke me out. Was told if I had issues I could return. I returned but was told I could only get a store credit. They sold me a second foundation that caused issues, and still would not refund. Very rude! Very uncaring and unhelpful! read more
