Dear Covenant Roofing Team,…read more I am writing to express my complete satisfaction with the recent roofing improvement work completed on my mobile home. From start to finish, I received the utmost respect, great communication, and service from diligent and skilled professionals. Once I agreed to the project, the team immediately filed for the county permit. Within 24 hours, the roofing materials were scheduled and delivered on Sunday, and the entire job was completed and cleaned up the very next day on Monday. I want to specifically recognize Chris, the sales representative, who was outstanding throughout the process and secured financing with the exact terms we discussed upfront. I also want to commend Austin, the team supervisor from the Leesburg office, who did excellent work leading his crew in 103° feels-like temperatures. I was especially impressed when I messaged Austin on a Sunday expecting a reply the next business day, and he responded within 30 minutes. The best part of the experience was the consistent communication; someone was always keeping me updated and checking in to see if I had any concerns. I deeply appreciate the excellent work and everything Covenant Roofing has done. I would not hesitate to use your services again or refer your business to anyone.

July 4, 2025 At…read morefirst, I praised this company, believing they had done a good job. However, upon closer inspection, the overall work turned out to be sloppy and careless. I asked the owner/manager--the person I paid--to return and clean up the excessive cement pieces left scattered throughout the yard, as well as to remove their company sign. They never came back. One of the slabs was poorly finished, with significant overpour and uncleaned edges (see attached images). I repeatedly requested that they correct the work, but was told this is "common." In addition to the subpar finish, they left multiple water bottles tossed around the yard, further evidence of a lack of professionalism. Photos show the poorly done slab and the cement debris I had to collect myself. You can decide if this is the type of service you want to pay for. As it stands, I will likely need to request reimbursement to have the slab properly corrected

They have also done my friends' homes in which my friends have been very happy with the results. I have made over 20 recommendations, (although my name is not used per my wishes, being an elected local area official). At my rental home, Jose and his team were the best roofers ever. This rental home roof is a showstopper. It is fantastic. Batterbee Roofing has always had excellent pricing, the best roofing warranties, and friendly, cheerful, and helpful employees. The salesman was not high pressure at all. He was very considerate and kind. My wind mitigation studies have always rated Batterbee Roofing above average, even with the nail count. (Yes, all roofing nails were counted, every single one, since I am really fussy about having secure shingles)

In fact, I originally indicated I had the proper gooseneck so they didn't need to provide one. However, it turned out my gooseneck neck cap was too small. Rather than pushing the job off to another day, Edward and Miguel went right out and purchased the correct materials and got the job completed by the end of the day. Here's a review of our experience with Jason Metts. In the beginning, my wife and I had very high…read morehopes for Jason. He advertised that he is licensed and insured. He communicated well and appeared to be both courteous and professional. He also has several good online reviews. After considering our options we decided to go with Jason. The project consisted of two bathrooms and a kitchen renovation. The estimated time for completion that Jason gave was 3-weeks. Jason began work on the 6th of January, and I was under the impression that things were going well. It's also important to note that we were not present during the project, so I depended on phone calls, texts, and photos to get an idea of how things were going. Once the demo work was completed, things began to slow down significantly. The guest bathroom took a lot of time, and it wasn't "completed" until January 31st. Now I will refer to the photos included with this review. Words can't describe how terrible his work is. He has already cost us several thousands of dollars, and now we must get a professional to come in and rip out the tile completely and start from scratch. Every company that came out was shocked at what they saw. I gave Jason multiple opportunities to correct this issue, but the results were the same. He can't do tile work, and he damaged the vanity top we just purchased. His measurements for other project were also inaccurate and we had to have other companies come in to get accurate measurements. I even changed the scope of work to eliminate the bathroom projects and give him yet another opportunity, but in the end; he walked off the job and accused me of being unreasonable. He left early often but alleged that he put in several hours. This is irrelevant. We don't care about the schedule if the deadline is met. When we were there this past weekend, he left around 3:00pm while we were at Home Depot and said he was going to Lowe's to get supplies. The next morning, he texted me and said he was in checkout at Lowe's. We asked him to send a list of action items to be completed by the end of the next working day, but he couldn't complete his own list. That same day, I scheduled a contractor go over and give me a price on completing the master bath and fixing the mess in the guest bath. When the contractor arrived, Jason opened the door and spoke with the contractor. He then called me and let me know that the gentleman was there. I told him that I wanted to contractor to look at both bathrooms and give me an estimate. Later that day, I spoke to the contractor, and he said Jason told him to look at both bathrooms and give a quote for two vanities only! When I spoke to Jason, about this, he alleged that the contractor said he was from and cabinet company. The contractor assured me that was not the case, and when I asked him what he thought about the work done in the guest bath he said, "it was terrible." We're angry, disappointed, and frustrated. Nevertheless, all I can say is "caveat emptor" anyone reading this should look elsewhere for a contractor. Jason is unreliable, unskilled, and unqualified. Based on our experience with him, I have no idea how anybody could give him a good review. The photos speak for themselves, and we don't want anyone else to be a victim.
