I will never use this company again!
Like I told the guy at the counter, I needed to send a tool in for repair and I chose postnet because I wanted to use UPS or FedEx. They would have a tracking number AND I needed at least $100 in insurance. He said if that was the case I should just use USPS Priority Mail and gave me one of their mailers. He asked me where it was going. I started to give him the address and he immediately said they already had the address on file. I started to give him my return address and he said they didn't need it, if something went wrong they would just call me.
I put my paperwork in the mailer and when I put the tool in he perked up and said, "really, your sending that?" I said, "yes, do you think I should get some bubble wrap our place it in a padded mailer first?" He said, "No, it'll be fine." I sealed it up, he put the label on it. Charged me double what it would have cost had I gone to the P.O. and proceeded to throw it on the floor behind the counter. The label was missing "Attn. Warranty" even though I told him and the phone number associated with the destination was wrong and belonged to a plumber here in town. When I got home I told my wife something didn't feel right about it and I would not be surprised if something happened and the tool didn't make it.
Go figure! Using the tracking number I watched and THREE days later the post office finally picked up the package and took it for delivery.
It arrived at its destination with the paperwork but no tool inside.
Now I have to file a claim through the Postal Service and come to find out I only have $50 in insurance!
I have to give a minimum of 1 star rating but if I could a NEGATIVE 5 star would be too generous... read more
