You can obviously post letter, parcels, pay bills, exchange money, buy stamps and do all the usual post office tasks. They also sell a limited range of stationery products. They also have a photo booth, which was handy for getting my driving license completed. The service is good, in that they often have three windows open, so the queue moves along nicely. Unusually they also have packages of used Playstation and PSP games bundled up, being sold for around £10 to £15, which is quite handy. Parking is great, as you can park on the main Co-op car park. I don't think there is any danger in losing this office, but I still make sure I use post offices generally whenever I can, so that they don't get closed down. They offer a vital service for the community.

Staff are always welcoming, polite and informative. Well kept store. The layout is well thought out and with a generous selection of greeting cards and stationery for those last minute errands! Opening hours are also good for a small'ish town. Keep up the good work!

When I first entered, it felt more like a card shop than a Post Office, the selection of greetings cards was very large which is unusual for a Post Office. They had barriers in place for queuing which again I feel were an unnecessary obstacle given the fact this particular location never seems to get too busy. I do think it could have been laid out slightly better. They have a good number of services/facilities on offer, the weekend opening hours are pretty poor, closing at noon on Saturday and then being closed until 8:30 on Monday, however during the week the opening hours are slightly more generous than most, opening until 6 pm. The staff seemed friendly enough, I was in and out quickly and managed to do what I needed to do. 3* - Not too bad.

This is a post office bang in the centre of Bacup, not really great for parking, only a tiny side…read morestreet. Ive found the staff there to be quite rude, refusing to do simple tasks that would make my visit longer, even when there has been no one else in. There was a change in the management a few months ago and the place is alot nicer to visit. The staff that used to be a right pain are actually making an effort for the customers and I no longer feel like I have to to miles out of my way to find a decent post office.
