This post office is upstairs within WH Smith. Their machines do not take international cards (I tried with a visa credit and debit card from the States if that helps). 1st floor has a lot of office supplies and the upper floor has various books including a large children's section. The lines are super long always unless you go near closing time around 5pm. There's usually two ladies. Try to avoid the dark haired lady as she has been super rude to me twice and I have experienced her rudeness towards her coworker as well. read more

We used this post office many times in the past six months and were never disappointed. The employees are nice and helpful. they have machines as well so if you have a regular sized letter/package to post, you don't have to stand in the queue and these machines sell stamps too. several kinds of forms (and a photo booth as well) in case you need to renew your driving licence, passport, etc. money exchange is also possible. read more

This has closed now and the post office has moved to WHSmiths on the high street

The main post office is now in W.H.Smith which is a BIG mistake. For a start it is on the first floor and the lift is W.H. Smiths is not only small it is also very unreliable. The post office has taken quite a bit of space from the book department. The queues are nearly always massive and snake right across the book section almost to the stairs. There are only ever a couple of counters open and the staff seem to change very frequently so there are always new staff having to learn the ropes. I never use this post office now as it is just such an awful experience. Avoid if you can. read more

Try to avoid at all costs going to this post office now it is based in WH Smith (which is on the High Street). The couple of times I have used it, the queues go on for miles and I have stood there for 40 minutes before. As it is on the second floor it can be reached by stairs or a lift but is not that disabled/buggy friendly when you get there. Very cramped. There are also books on this floor and you can not get to the books easily without walkingr ound someone queuing for the POst Office. I have not found the staff to be that friendly or apologetic - they are probably fed up aswell. read more
