My experience working at this daycare center was mixed. There were some kind staff and kind moments, but I also faced challenges that affected my emotional well-being. During my time there, I noticed the environment could feel tense at times, especially when a senior staff member seemed frequently frustrated. I sometimes felt the approach to discipline was harsher than I expected, and I struggled to find the emotional support I needed while advocating for a child with additional needs. I often felt unsure how to balance firmness with kindness because the modeling from leadership leaned more toward control than connection. When I asked for guidance, I didn't always receive the support I hoped for, which was discouraging. I want to emphasize this is my personal experience during my two months there and may not reflect everyone's time at the center. I care deeply about emotional safety and nurturing leadership in early childhood settings, and that's what I look for. I decided to resign because I didn't feel supported in growing into the role I wanted to be, and I hope the center continues to grow and foster a more emotionally supportive environment for both children and staff. I highly recommend Positive Path early learning. Both of my daughters attended the day care. Joanne and Wendy have created an amazing environment that makes me feel very comfortable leaving my girls in their care. The rest of the staff truly care about the children and you can see that when you spend time at the facility. The building itself if perfect. From the mini toilets and sinks in the bathrooms, the reading room, art areas and the awesome outside play area where they have sandboxes a bike loop and many play areas. They go above and beyond with monthly parties for birthdays, special event days for holidays and even have Santa come and give out gifts (supplied by Joanne and Wendy) at Christmas time. They have a great balance of care and compassion but also prepare the children for kindergarten by teaching them to be independent and confidence. My child was previously only in home daycares so we were nervous about sending him to a facility with more children, however this preschool has been a blessing for us. My son adapted very well to being with the rest of the students. The teachers work very hard with each student on each of their needs, communicating with families about each child's strengths and making sure each child is included. They work hard through any behaviours that can arise as working with approximately 3-5 year old children can naturally occur. These are fabulous and hard working individuals who go above and beyond working, care planning, communicating and supporting each child and family in a unique way. We are very lucky to have such caring people looking after our child and their determination and care for their profession radiates in the work they do and the joy the children having in going there each day to learn. read more

I highly recommend Positive Path Early Learning Inc. Both of my kids were enrolled and have attended this pre-school prior to kindergarten. PPEL child care had been very supportive especially to working parents like us. Teachers had built a nurturing relationship, positive and safe environment with a variety of things to learn and explore among our children. I would also like to commend Joanne and Wendy for their dedication and hardwork by creating engaging lessons that made learning fun and exciting.
