    I waited 30 Days to post this review to give Benjamin the benefit of the doubt, to give him a…read morechance to prove his word as a property management company but here is the proof that he is a SCAM artist. I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

I was…read more'wowed' recently when my Mom and I had the luck of running into a Coldwell Banker Realtor at an open house in Delray Beach. My Mom recently moved to the area to be closer to 'yours truly', and we started working with Bill Martin in an endeavor to find her the perfect home. My Mom and I had some pretty specific ideas of what we were looking for and Bill was very attentive in helping us find the right home, in the right location, for the right price. I am now a forever customer and will continue to work with Bill on future property purchases and sales. He is highly responsive, patient and professional. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a realtor in the area. I know you will be 'wowed' too!

    I WILL NEVER USE THIS COLDWELL BANKER REAL ESTATE AGENCY AGAIN!!! I purchased a Delray Beach Condo…read morefrom them, and I assumed all the information in the contract was true and "verified". After the closing I contacted the Condo Association to inform them that I purchased a Condo and a parking space that is covered, have video surveillance, and very close to the entrance door. The Condo Association immediately stated their records showed my space is outside and around the corner - a space that was not in the contract and very inconvenient for a senior couple. When I told the Real Estate sales agent (Ms.Anneliese Schwyter) the issue, I was informed Coldwell Banker "only relies on the information that the seller provides". Although Anneliese tried to resolve the issue, she wrote a note that Coldwell Banker is not responsible for this issue - and she "walked away from the problem that she created". The bottom line is - if Anneliese made the effort of making a 5-minute phone call to the Condo Association to verify the contract information she would have realized there was a problem with the parking space. Had she done this I would have delayed the Closing until Coldwell Banker and the seller corrects the Condo association parking records. After Anneliese walked away from the problem, I had a meeting with Mr. Steve Weinraub (Coldwell Banker Managing Broker) and requested his help in resolving the issue. He stated that he and his agents are "too busy", and he refused to provide any assistance on resolving the problem. When I told him that I will sue Coldwell Bankers if this problem is not resolved his response was "go ahead - that's why we have insurance". I terminated the meeting after it was clear that this agency will not help a client after closing. It took "several months" to resolve the issue. I was able to do this because my daughter is a Paralegal in a law office, and she had to go back to the Closing records between the builder and the previous owner. This took a lot of time, effort and money to resolve the issue. The purpose of this review is to notify everyone that - if you must deal with this Agency ask if they "verified the information" in your contract. If they state the information was not verified then delay the Closing until they do. When they state the contract information is verified I suggest that you put a statement in the Contract that everything was verified and have it signed by the Sales Agent and the Managing Broker. Due to my experience I will never deal with, or recommend, this agency because they demonstrated that they are only interested in making money -- rather than protecting their clients by verifying their contracts.
