This is quite a small library - but with a very large stock. There's a lot through the back - you just have to ask teh librarians. The librarians are exceedingly helpful and friendly - and if you're doing research on the local area you can't do better than to ask them. They'll get you books, order you books in from libraries elsewhere in Highland and geenrally bend over backwards to help. There's a good range of fiction, children's books and an extensive non-fiction section too. There's shelf after shelf of local interest books - and lots of information for those researching their family tree / genealogy. Even if you're a tourist, you can spend a happy few hours in here just browsing all the local information and finding out about the history or geology of Skye. read more
