I recently reached out to Brittany because I needed some head shots. I must admit, I was a little…read morenervous as I'm generally not one who likes most pictures of myself, but I need them for professional reasons. Brittany and I met briefly before the session. We talked about what I was looking for in terms a of a head shot (full length, shoulder up, etc.) and she suggested that I bring a few outfits so I could try some different looks. On the day of my session, she was all set up and ready to go. It took me a few minutes to settle in, but then, as she predicted, I started to feel more comfortable. We tried several poses and angles, both sitting and standing. I also swapped out looks as she suggested. Brittany had a draft picture ready for me later that day! I've been to Cara twice now to get different sets of headshots. I've never done headshots before. Here is how she made it easy: 1. Clear instructions ahead of time on how to show up looking your best. 2. She let me shoot in several outfits when I was unsure, and helped me work through what I liked about each look. 3. I have no clue how to position my head in a photo. Cara guided me through everything in a low-pressure comfortable environment. 4. There was no pressure to buy more or less.
