I have a 2 and 4 yr old that can be difficult to cooperate. Our lady did a great job with them and the pictures turned out beautifully!

I have done two photography sessions with Rita: a five-hour branding session and another headshot…read moresession. Working with her went beyond my best expectations. I'm used to having to tell professionals I hire exactly what to do, but Rita had so many great ideas that she was the expert in charge, as it always ought to be! I am now spoiled by her excellent service. Her business branding session we did before the first shoot was incredibly valuable. I did not expect to get so many new ideas about how to advertise my business. This service set her apart in my search for a Kansas City area photographer and did not disappoint. She was also wonderful throughout both of the photoshoots. She thinks quickly and is great at keeping you smiling with humor, even at the end of a five-hour session. In addition, she goes the extra mile--she even helped me clean up and chop in the kitchen for the food photos! Best of all, the photographs all turned out wonderfully, and she got them to me promptly. Rita helped me to take my business to the next level! I'll consider using her even after I leave the Kansas City area. She gets my highest recommendation.

Rita completely saw my vision through when I wanted to do a Motherhood Photo Shoot on my farm. RITA IS THE BEST energy to be around when you are feeling vulnerable in front of the camera and nothing ever felt artificial or forced. When I see these pictures it's the way I see my life with my son. I never thought someone could ever capture that, but SHE DID. Rita's has captured my timeline and our story over the years and it's one of the most cherished things I have!

My wife did quite the search months ago for the perfect photographer for our newborn and PERFECT is…read morewhat we got. To begin with, Amy started out with a full explanation of how the session would go so there would be no surprises. She made sure my wife, our mothers, and I were comfortable and provided nice cold water bottles knowing that the hear might be too much for us. It is obvious from the beginning that she knows how to work with infants. The care she took to wrap our son in the various positions and set ups was so meticulous. Her set up was so practical for photographing a newborn with the heat up high and a great white noise machine humming away. The studio is perfect size with all the props, lights, and essentials within arms reach. The main stage for the infants are several thick sheets with the front part about 1 foot off the ground and the rear part about 4 feet off the ground. This is ideal because if she needs to lower or raise the child or part of the child all she has to do is gently place a rolled towel under the child which barely disrupts the child. The wrapping in the various wraps was amazing. She took the time to individually move each finger and toe so the perfect picture was acquired. The patience she has is something a new parent can learn from. He even peed down her shirt but that did not phase her! She quickly cleaned up and came back like nothing happened. We took my guitar for him to lay on. To prevent another pee accident she placed a couple thick towels on the guitar which ended doing their job as his bladder came back for a repeat performance . Basically, this was an amazing and memorable experience. Our baby boy was naked (and soooo cute) for about 2.5 hours without a peep due to Amy's gift of working with infants.
