Not a fan!! I mean!…read moreHow can you not like anything in Ischia? Right?! I know. Just this beach. This is my favorite island. And we come here often. But this is also my least favorite beach. It's the most commercially packed, no place to walk, drive or lounge type kinda beach. I'm not a fan of being close to other people. The chairs are set up such that one bad roll and you can land on someone else's lap! Like a perv! But! That being said, this is also the only beach here that you can drive to. Most beaches are a boat ride away and if you wanna stay in land! This is it. Rows and rows of cafes, bars, restaurants and chairs! It's like Miami but better: with all Italians! You can honk, curse at anyone and still get service. But since this is Italy, they may or may not move at the speed of snail. Or move fast but get every single waiter will come out just to hit on you! Signora, una fotografiaa!!!!!! Basta! Try the other beaches: take the boat!! Unless you are into crowd. I hate crowd!

Tastier and more fun!!! Burning hot sand: you need shoes! Cactuses! Tiny walk path: plethoras of restaurants scattered all over! It's a good time all around!! Many lazy afternoons were spent here! Also many of those afternoons spent eating!! Best way to come: on a boat! Even if you come on a sail/yatchs: you can hail a small boat to yours. They'll also deliver food to you with those little boats! 5 or 10 euros per person! Sometimes it might just be you! Pretty fun! The beach it awesome! Crazy hot though! And bring cash!

Salvatore and our waiter went out of their way to make sure our last meal as an engaged couple was one we will never forget and always remember with a smile on our face (we were getting married in Ischia in a few days and this was our last meal with just us before the wedding festivities). Salvatore carried our table down and put it RIGHT on the beach, right next to the sea, so we could enjoy a romantic dinner "on the beach" at sunset - with the most beautiful, unobstructed view of the sun setting over the sea. We were already having so much fun with this, and then Salvatore brought down a blow up mini pool to our table and asked the lifeguard nearby to grab a pail of water and fill up the pool with sea water so he could place the pool under our table so we could rest our feet in the water while we ate! It was an absolute riot! We were cracking up and had so much fun! Salvatore was so funny, sweet, and thoughtful - we will never ever forget this fabulous night at Seasons. We had lobster and sea bass, Negronis, wine, and dessert - the food was OUTSTANDING!!!! Even without having the "best seat in the house" we'd still be giving Seasons a 5-star rating for its absolutely delicious food, gorgeous sunset views, incredible location right on the beach, and friendly and impeccable service. Thank you Salvatore and everyone at Seasons for showing us such love and joy that night. It was truly a night we'll never ever forget. We will be sure to visit next time we're in Ischia!!!

We took a few boat rides from Ischia just for our lunches here. Dinners were trickier because the boats ( boat taxis) stop running randomly. I mean it is Italian style after all. A very relaxed life style. And now that it's summer, everyone from the island is on vacation!!! First off: the boat drops you about 10 mintues walk from here on the beach. You can walk on the very hot feet burning sand or use the tiny walkway: walk past many restaurants and people. This place is tiny inside and tiny outside. But the food smells fantastic. Oh yea: watch out for the cactuses outside!! The rundown ~ island food! Italian food! Everything you would eat in southern italia aka local and minimal seafood menu. Pasta dishes are simple and almost as good as homemade : Italian style of course. Secondis are my favorite since they have various fishes! Our server/owner is pretty cool. Again: this is where Italians vacation! They have no need to speak English. Neither do I :D We got along famously!! They brought our appetizers, pastas and main dishes out as we requested. Love the grilled and fried fish! Fritto misto was tasty! And that gamberi pasta!! The best!! So fresh, so tasty! Grazie voi!!!! It's a little bit cheaper than prices in Sant' Angelo ( where we stayed) but it's comparable to most island prices. Its about 15 -20 euros for pasta dishes and fish can go up to about 80 euros. Our seafood was around 30 euros. Not bad at all. And considering most my Italian family comes from Rome, we LOVE seafood. This was a steal for us! We stayed here for a good 3-4 hours during our lunch which isnt' unusual. Long lunches are part of the fun being back in Italia! Overall, I love this place. I also loved people watching in scorching 90 degrees heat. The beach is literally right below me. We got chairs and umbrellas rented but we didn't bother leaving soon. And they also gave us free appertif at the end! Cin cin!! 4 stars all around but the quality of food can't be beat~ I can still taste that pasta! And that spada in olio!!! Yep! 5 stars it is!! Highly recommend the Puttanesca, the Bolognese, Paccheri with jumbo prawns, zucchini blossoms and arugula and the fresh mixed grill fish. Everything we have ordered has been perfectly prepared. Meals include a lovely tomato and basil bruschetta, homemade bread and an after dinner limoncello. The house wine is a perfect accompaniment to the delicious food. The staff are attentive and kind. There are three swimming pools and the best is one that is elevated and provides a nice view of the area. If you are staying in San Angelo, this is a great alternative to the beach. The water taxi to Scannella from San Angelo is reasonable as long as you are willing to negotiate. The restaurant on the terrace is great and the chef will review your lunch order in the morning. Great recommendations. Langostinos, Mussels, Shrimps were fantastic. Pasta with Octopus. This venue has hotel rooms and this venue is also associated with Giardino Nonno.
