The worst service I have experienced in Ireland I visited…read morethis service twice. I have been to other garages before, but I have never experienced such a low level of service anywhere else. I came here for wheel balancing and wheel alignment. After their wheel balancing, the vibration did not improve -- it actually became worse, which already raised serious concerns about the quality of their work. During my first visit for wheel alignment, they only adjusted the rear axle and refused to do the front, claiming the bolts were "seized" and could not be adjusted. Despite this, they charged the full price for the service, even though the job was not fully completed. Since I have technical experience, I personally loosened the front adjustment lock nuts, then returned to them to complete the alignment. On the second visit, they set the alignment angles more or less correctly, but when I drove away, the steering wheel was not centered. I returned immediately, but their response was shocking. Even though the service had already been paid for, they refused to finish the job on the same day. Instead, I was told that in order to center the steering wheel I would need to replace the entire tie rod end, allegedly because the nut was damaged. This was not true. It felt like a convenient excuse to avoid completing work that had already been paid for. The overall experience was so poor that it genuinely felt like déjà vu -- I still cannot believe that such a level of service is possible in a place like this in Ireland. Later, I went to another service, where they had no issues at all: the wheels were rebalanced correctly, and the vibration disappeared completely; the steering wheel was adjusted and centered perfectly, using the same old tie rod end and the same nut. I was clearly told that there were no problems and no parts needed to be replaced. This only confirmed that the explanations given by this service were completely unfounded. My clear recommendation: Avoid this place if you need wheel balancing or wheel alignment. If you have another service even 10-15 km away, go there instead. I cannot comment on their other mechanical work -- perhaps they perform better in other areas. But wheel balancing and wheel alignment here are the worst services I have encountered. If you are not technically experienced and plan to trust the mechanic, this is definitely not the service you are looking for.

There is discolouration, chemical damage (tears in upholstery) and staining on 2 seats in particular. For transparency, I gave them every chance to rectify the situation, today I sought legal advice and found a specialist in professional seat repairs (he was shocked at the damage). I am 62 and the only driver of the car and the car was never owned by anyone else, it is truly minded. Extremely disappointed - my car is in a worse condition now than before the valets. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GARAGE…read more Conlans advertised a Range Rover on carzone. I phoned the garage & was told by the sales rep that the previous owner was known to the garage & looked after the car very well, this along with the fact that the garage are a main dealer for Landrover & Jaguar I felt reassured and so I drove to Naas & went on a test drive. The manager & sales rep told me should I wish to purchase the car that they would fix any problems at all that needed to be fixed before I would collect the car, they said the car would be as good as new. I trusted the sales rep and the manager and on good faith I paid 500 euro deposit & both the sales rep & manager shook my hand. Thankfully I took advise & paid a mechanic recommended by AA (180 euro) to inspect the car before I paid the balance. The mechanic that I hired gave a less than satisfactory report & told me to stay away from the car unless the garage would honor the report (there were engine & gear box leaks & the handbrake wire had been severed amongst a list of other serious problems. I gave Conlans the mechanics report and the sales rep told me that he was not surprised by it, this I found strange considering the long list of problems. The next day he phoned back & without apology he told me that they could no longer sell the car to me as it would cost too much to fix- I asked would they compensate the 180 I spent to inform them of this & they said no. I trusted the garage (both sales rep & manager) when they told me that anything that needed to be fixed would be fixed - why did the garage advertise a car for a price, take a deposit, shake hands on a deal before they even checked the car. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this garage however if you do intend to buy from them - make sure you are happy to loose any money you might spend checking the car out as they havent a clue what they are really selling you- even if they tell you they know the previous own & know how well the car was looked after.
