He took over an hour explaining every detail of the Periacetabular Osteotomy (PAO) (fellowship trained with Dr. Tim Schrader, Atlanta) surgery. Dr. Faust offered several options in his expert opinion and was transparent about the pros and cons of surgery. Even though I left his office in tears, I knew could trust Dr. Faust and his team for my bilateral PAOs. I returned to running a quarter marathon, a tough mudder in Europe and a triathlon without hip pain. I am grateful Dr. Faust is able to provide this specialty surgery in Louisiana. I have no regrets. Every phase of the experience was a 5 Star treatment. The entire process from diagnostics, MRI, pre-surgery, check ins, wait time, pre-op, paperwork and post-op were flawless and done in the most efficient and dignified manner I could possibly concieve. I have no idea how surgery went because after chatting with the Anesthisist for about 5 minutes, I remember nothing until I woke up in recovery with my wife and post op nurse discussing discharge instructions. But from the images and after action review by Dr. Frierson, it must have gone well too. One time he drew around my incision with his ink pen. I ended up having several surgeries, each time he used glue. I eventually ended up with a staff infection. He yelled at me about not going to the fancy patient room upstairs. After putting me through all this While I was in the hospital for ten days, Dr. Girod finally used staples.

The nurse was unapologetic and uncooperative. Now I am scrambling to find an orthopedist who can see me as soon as possible, so that I can get some relief. I will be sure to advise my primary care physician not to recommend this office. It is poorly run, and an uncaring group. I have tolerated this situation for years, but no longer. If it were possible to give "0" stars I would.

Dr Harrod performed a back surgery and a neck surgery this past year and I feel absolutely fantastic!!! Finally relief!! These were not my first surgeries on neck and back. The others by two other surgeons didn't solve my issues. I was referred to him by a friend who also had great results. Since my surgery I have come across several others who sang Dr Harris's praises. So worth the drive from Monroe to Baton Rouge!!

I can now barely walk or bend and am out of breath due to pain. He also acted like I was drug seeking. Opiates do not agree with me and can't believe he thinks I was seeking drugs. I then went to the Neuromedical Center and spoke with Dr. there and I'm not going to list the MD I saw there but he told me he would never inject cement in a fracture that happened way back in 2017. He said he would not due that procedure if the fracture was more than a few months old. Seeing pain specialist at Neuromedical and he put temporary leads in for a spinal stimulator but they kept migrating so that didn't help. I have another appointment with them in a few weeks to discuss other options. They did prescribe me Bambusa which is an opioid but I didn't agree with me so I'm not taking it. It pisses me off that Harrod assumed I was looking for drugs and doubled me pain

My sister had to have a procedure done her back in November and I have been very delayed in doing…read morethis; but I wanted to write a review and let everyone know how nice the experience was. Not only were the Nurses and Staff so kind to my sister, but they were very kind to me as well and I appreciated that. My sister gets so very cold the nurses she had that day were great at keeping her wrapped in warm blankets. This may seem like a small thing but sometimes it is just the small things that can help make a procedure go better. The procedure itself only took less than an hour and so we were in and out. I think it took longer in recovery than it did to check in and have it done. In no way am I complaining, I think its great when things work that way. I think the General is laid out very well and the signage makes it easy to follow and get to where you need to be. There is a very nice coffee shop on the lower level, not too far from the waiting rooms.

The only thing I could figure was the lunch hour was during my visit and I saw several red coming in and out with food orders. Tacky, if that was the reason for the unnecessary wait; however, they do get a three for speed of visit and pleasant medical staff.
