First off, quoted at 130 a hour, it ended up being 150 a hour for what we were charged, and the…read moremain reason we called was water coming out where it is supposed to drain from the washing machine. Wasn't fixed; they said it was coming from the washer and had the washer repair man come out, and it's not coming from the washer. they whispered about a couple of things in a very shady way and just didn't seem like they knew what to do about the water backing up out of the drain. Basically, it wasn't fixed. I got charged 550 in labor for them being there from for 3 and a half hours. 30 minutes of which was just sitting in their truck and going back and forth into the house 4 times saying they were making sure they didn't forget anything(they had everything before they went to truck to sit make out their bill and eat lunch probably). The main thing we called for wasn't done. They did fix a sink and removed a dishwasher(that was already 75 percent unhooked). I did ask them to fix leaking water out of the bathtub faucet, which they said was okay. Now, we have to call a plumber to fix what we originally called about.

My wife and I contracted Steve to do an install at our house in Ludowici…read more We ended up going with his company due to the expediency that they were expecting in the install. He told us that he was expecting a mid to late April install. This later turned into late June with Covid. This isn't too big of a deal as we had a feeling this would happen. Though we had much difficulty contacting him to determine when they were breaking ground. The problem came in first with all of the communication in development to install. If you decide to go with this company plan to do your research and design alone without input from the company. This was a huge issue issue due to my deployment to Korea and my wife working. You will need to specify every detail in order to get what you want because they will not take spoken words into account. First was that we told them that we were planning on gardening on the left side of the pool. During install, the graded it to the left and back towards the home which resultsin all the water splashed out, as well as rain water, drains into the area for the planned garden. This in turn means that i will have to place a drain down the length of the pool to move the water to ensure that it does not kill the plants. Second was that we instructed him to place a hole in the concrete to enable us putting a fire pit in. I gave him a PowerPoint layout to try and ensure it was where I wanted it. He misread it and made it about a foot and a half closer to the house resulting in needing bricks to prevent fire damage to the house. Third we told him we were going to put a slide in and needed him to plumb it. We stated that we wanted the slide to exit into the deep end of the pool. As you can see from the pictures, the slide exits just shy of the middle which is where it is sloping from shallow to deep. He told us after the fact that the concrete on the far side is too narrow to support the slide. If we had known sooner than we could have paid to extend the concrete to get what we wanted. Fourth, after the install was complete we had to contact the company to get the shallow end rope, extra filter, net, pole, vacuum, and hose. Steve had one of his workers come back to complete that work but we didn't get the net. I had to go back to Jesup yet again to get the net. Lastly, during the install the digger hit our electrical line going to our well. I received a call from my son while I was in Korea letting me know of the issue. It flipped the circuit breaker. Upon arrival home I was noticing the circuit flipping about 5 times per day. I contacted Steve to find out the location that the line was hit. Upon learning where it was, I began digging and found the short in the line that caused an arc and fried the line. I told him that I can understand them not wanting to pay for an electrician but could he at least pay the $100 that i had to spend on a new line that i had to install. He told me that he would not do that, that he was nice enough to give a $500 military discount (which I used to get another slab of concrete through him), and that paragraph 14 of the contract covered him. All in all, the actual work that they did looks nice. If you plan on going with them know that you will have to do all of the research and design, specify everything, and plan on additional expenses following the install.

SOOOO. Just called this company to ask for the drawings from the original construction of our pool…read more We just purchased the home and there is a leak in our pool. I asked if I could get a layout of the piping, was told flat out NO! I need the piping layout so that I will know where to start digging to find the leak from their improper installation. This is a pool that is 6 years old and has been leaking for a year (or more). The owner of the company refuses to share any information from the original construction. The owners secretary told me straight out that most likely he will not call me because she knows he will not share the information with me so no reason to call me back. You would think common curtesy would to be share this information with the home owner and maybe they will call you to make repairs or upgrades. They were more than happy to request me to call the owners son who owns his own pool company so that he can come out and repair my pool for me, said that they would share the drawings with him IF I hire him. Just WOW, this seems like some very underhanded sneaky way to do business. I went to the city and was able to get the original contract, but no detailed drawing of the overall layout for the pool and the piping. The guy has been in business for 40 some odd years, cant believe that he has been in business this long if this is how you handle your possible clients. Read through the contract a few time and not sure if its normal for pool companies, but do not see any type of a warranty for any work done or for any product supplied???? Would give a zero rating so far, but had to at least pick one just to post.
