Popcorn Wedding Films can do good work when it is delivered. I have received a film from Popcorn Wedding Films and it was good, however my wedding film is the one that means the most and has NOT been delivered. I have been constantly following up with empty promises from Popcorn Wedding Films for 5 months now and still nothing. Now my emails and calls are not returned. Unfortunately, there are so many stories that echo the same sentiment as the negative reviews And my own. To anyone considering, PLEASE do your research beforehand. read more

Used Zultan back in 2014 for my wedding video, we ended up having to go to VCAT to get our raw files and pay someone else to finish the video. It took me a while to get around to it but have recently engaged a different videographer to fix the video up and have been advised that he has had multiple people need their help to fix up the video. DONT NOT USE POPCORN FILMS. Horrible experience having to chase up Zultan weekly for our short and long films with replies from him saying 'I'll have it next week', every time I asked. The short film we eventually received after about 4-5months and the quality was terrible, so I asked him to fix it and he sent the same thing back just brightened. Finally after 6-7months of chasing him for our 20min film, we received it, the songs I wanted weren't used, it was put into two discs, thrown into a box.... yes just two discs thrown into a box and posted. Never received a USB, or the outtakes as promised. Such a horrible stressful experience, left us thinking we'd wasted so much money and really hurt the memory of the day. Also I searched the ABN at the time and it has been cancelled.... wonder why?? read more

Similar to other reviews unfortunately. Zultan seemed professional to begin with, met us for a drink to discuss our day and what we wanted. He was great on the day, but getting the final product from him was quite difficult. He said he would give my husband as I an extra 2 hours if we were to pay the balance and if he was able to use our clip for his website, we agreed. He also said we would get a drone for the day, no drone. He said we would get the footage whilst we were on honeymoon, we didn't. We got our short clip within 2 months and it was really well done. However, getting the full video was quite a painful process. I was emailing, calling and texting everyday only to get excuses. He said he would send it via post and then there was an excuse. I offered to collect it and he made an excuse. It was only after constant text messages that we finally received our copies. On blank discs and no box as promised. Zultan did deliver, but the process to get the final product was painful and extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend him as it was quite a stressful process. read more

DO NOT waste your time or money with 'Popcorn Films.' Zultan is a scam artist and will take your money and deliver nothing in return except lies and empty promises. He didn't show up to our wedding day and now, hasn't shown up to our VCAT hearing. Disgraceful. Sadly we are still receiving empty promises 6 months post our wedding. The owner canceled on us on twice. Once for the prewedding shoot and secondly the night before the wedding. We had another person film our wedding however they are yet to receive payment for our footage which has resulted in an ugly situation where we still don't have any wedding footage. We have learned there are many many others in our situation in hidden groups to afraid to speak up and still hoping the empty promises may deliver one day. Don't even continue researching, just stay away. Biggest regret I hold on to. Our wedding was amazing and it's so sad that we don't have footage to look back on. read more

Zultan/Fatih is a conman. If you're considering booking him, please do yourself a favour and research his reviews and speak to people in the industry. He'll take what is meant to be one of the most memorable days of your life and turn it in to a nightmare. His reputation is catching up to him though, with more and more people speaking out. It's been 16 months since our wedding and we are now going through the Magistrates Court to have a VCAT order enforced against him. As other reviewers have said, he does not deliver on things listed in contracts. For example, we didn't have a drone for our wedding day despite it being listed in the contract, we didn't have a second cinematographer for our wedding day despite it being listed in the contract, we didnt receive our edited wedding view, nor did we receive our engraved USB. All we've gotten from Zultan is lies, denials and unedited raw footage that looks like it was filmed by a six year old. Zultan calls himself a cinematographer rather than a videographer, something he was at pains to point out several times during our wedding day. The truth is, he's neither. He's just a clown who decided to buy a camera one day and start filming weddings. Once we got fed up with Zultan's lies, we decided to take the matter to VCAT as countless others have (speak to the registrar at VCAT, all previous proceedings are on the public record). Of course, Zultan did not bother showing up to the VCAT hearing and an order was granted in our favour. Zultan is now refusing to comply with the order, leaving us no choice but to go to the Magistrates Court. I have no doubt that Zultan will reply to this review with more lies and denials, as he has done to others. It seems to be all that he is capable of. As I mentioned, just take a look at how many people have resorted to going through VCAT when dealing with Zultan. That's something that he can't spin, or lie about. read more

When I first found Zultan I was so happy as the videos on his website were exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. We also agreed that he would provide 2hrs extra filming if I paid the whole balance upfront. I should have not been so trusting!!!! Firstly he did not come through with this promise. His contractor who attended our reception left half way through the night. At this stage I thought ok mistakes happen and I was still excited to see the end result. 7 months later!!!! And no video in sight. I've been given flat out excuses by him week after week, month after month. You can't imagine how I felt when I discovered other reviews of couples going through the same experience. Why didn't I check his reviews!!!! At this point he has stopped answering my calls and replying to emails. What kind of person would do this to a couple on what is supposed to be the happiest day of their life!!! I don't even care about his editing, at this stage i'll just take the raw footage. Anything will be better than nothing!!! I hope no bride ever has to go through the same. read more

Do not trust this company. Almost a year since our wedding and we still haven't received the final copies of our films, only empty excuses and promises with every week and email and phone call. He is a scam artist and will steal your money and leave you with either nothing or terrible raw footage that looks like it was filmed by a drunk toddler. The worst part isn't the money though, the worst part is not having a recording of the most important day of our lives, and no way to get it. Zultan does not deliver wedding videos as advertised ! He is very prompt with emails etc until the time he has been paid (we paid our deposit of 50 %). We were promised 2 videographers on our wedding day and only Zultan turned up, a drone was not in sight, same day edit was not delivered at our reception. We were also told we would get our short video when we returned from our honeymoon and after many text messages all we got were some screen shots (4 to be exact) via email. 9 months later, no short or long wedding video has been delivered. Zultan has stopped replying to my text messages like many others have reported. It is disappointing that such unprofessionalism exists in such a competitive market, not to mention the heartache of not receiving a video that captures so many memories of our important day!!! Unless you want to throw your money away DO NOT book with Zultan from popcorn films!! It has been 9 months since our wedding, Zultan seemed professional until he recieved the full payment for our wedding video. Then it all started... Firstly after our wedding Zultan would not answer or respond to any form of contact, when we finally got hold of him he would make up excuses and promise he would have our video ready for us. We would make appointments with him only to get to his office and be stood up. After about 6 months he finally sent a usb with our so called wedding video. It was pathetic, half the time we werent even filmed, the video was blurry and shakey, it was as though a child had filmed it. We then found out that Zultans assistant that was recording with him was some kid he had hired from the local coffee shop off chapel st, Zultan leaves the work to someone else that has absolutely no experience. Months later I still have no wedding video, it was meant to be 'posted' to us 1 month ago. After giving Zultan multiple chances and opportunities he just keeps lying to us, we've finally had enough and asked for a refund which no suprise Zultan has refused. STAY AWAY. Zultan is a liar and there are many brides that he has stuffed around which is just so horrible. We were lucky to have received everything from Zultan, only because I had to keep on him 4-5 times per week for almost a YEAR! It was exhausting and so upsetting. I can not say that his work was bad, he honestly did a great job but his professionalism is shocking. He organised our photography package too (outsourced) and in the end we didn't get our printed album or enlargements (because he apparently got stuffed around by the supplier). Regardless, he 'promised' us our work tomorrow, tomorrow, next week, etc for ALMOST 8 MONTHS! Just be honest, stop lying. Always an excuse. Took him to VCAT, he didn't turn up and lost the case. Owes us $1400 which he was the one who initiated this refund. We have always been polite and rational so Zultan can not say a single bad thing against me or my husband. We were warned early on that he was dodgy after he filmed our wedding so we were always very cautious of what we said and did. Now he still refuses to pay. What a joke. Go with someone who is regarding as an industry professional (on easy weddings etc), don't be sucked in by his good prices. Like I said, Zultan if you are reading this; your work is good, but your service and your commitment is shocking. I have been nothing but fair and even recommended you to another bride at the start. You've screwed me over and it's really disappointing. I just want what YOU promised me and what I paid for, nothing more. read more

I urge you to stay away from popcorn films!! Zultan WILL NEVER deliver what he promises to but will take your money and won't refund a portion of what he hasn't delivered. Like another review has mentioned.. he seemed all good and professional right up until we paid our final instalment and that's when everything changed. We chased him with phone calls, texts, emails, rocking up at his studio to get everything that we paid for and it took us 2 years to finally receive our DVD which was glitchy and although he 'promised' to fix it he never ever did. We were promised extra copies and USBs to which we paid for and now he just keeps texting to say he will post 'tomorrow' and he never does. It is now nearly 4 years since my wedding day and we are still waiting for these copies to be delivered. He obviously isn't interested.. this guy just pretends that he will post out everything to you but he won't in hopes that you will (and so many other couples) just give up. It is now nearly 4 years since my wedding day and there were so many tears and so much stress over this guy I regret ever using him. read more
