This is a small little place hidden in a shopping center... very easily missed. But they are filled with every popcorn flavor you could imagine! From sweet chocolate drizzled, strawberry shortcake to savory cheese, jalapeño even buffalo ranch! My family was drawn toward sweetness, we went with peanut butter cup, vegan sea salt caramel chocolate ... and churro... oh my goodness! The churro is unbelievable, even has a little bit of that buttery taste hidden amongst the cinnamon! They have a variety of 3 different sizes, would be great gifts for friends! Today I discovered such a place in Tucson and it is owned and worked by two female's. Women owned business alert! I stepped into a place of utmost popcorn happiness. My eyes didn't know where to start looking or stop. So many flavors of popcorn offered in this place brought out almost all the colors of a crayon box. Each popcorn bag had names to match their colors. Half salt lite oil, confetti, honey mustard, chili lime watermelon etc. Let me find a napkin or serviette because I need to wipe my mouth I'm remembering all the flavors I want to sink my teeth into. Heck I might just borrow my grandpas teeth for a backup when my jaws get tired. I bought a 3.5 gallon sports tin and chose three flavors to fill it up with and I couldn't stop buying. I bought three small bags of other flavors: green apple, churro, and cookies and cream. The 3.5 gallon tin when it becomes empty can be brought back in and refilled for a lower price! I opened the three small bags at work to share and all three bags had no chance. Eaten in a hurry, but my favorite was the Churro flavor. The popcorn tasted just like a churro! This place is great and the popcorn is fresh. If you are going out for movie night drop in buy a small bag or two and enjoy the movie with a tasty snack. I absolutely love popcorn, so when I saw a local brand in Safeway, I had to try all the flavors available. Regular, caramel, cheddar, cinnamon, etc. They all delivered on the promised flavors, and they were super fresh and great quality. No bags of tiny, tooth destroying kernels. So I had to find more about Popcorn Country asap. It took me about one minute browsing their website to decide I needed to visit the shop right away, because they have TONS more flavors! So, as any Tucsonan probably knows, the intersection they reside on isn't considered the best. So I was a little "meh" about going there, but...POPCORN! And now I'm happy to say that one of my favorite shops in Tucson is located at the infamous Grant and Alvernon! The parking lot is perfectly fine, it's not actually as scary as people make the area out to be, so don't fret. The shop is so cute, with popcorn lining every wall! The employee let us try each and every flavor we wanted, and then we decided to go with the. 3.5 gallon tin of three flavors. This comes with forever refills of any flavors you like (1-3 of them, whatever you want) for a discounted price. We knew right away that we could safely invest in this decision, because everything was so tasty, unique, and fresh. My absolute favorite is the honey mustard flavor, which apparently is a bit controversial (it's a love it or hate it flavor). It's mustardy and sweet and salty and yummy! The parmesan garlic is a close runner-up. I even love the dill pickle, and I HATE dill. Popcorn Country is a magical place of popcorn and everyone must go there! read more

It's popcorn. When it is really bad. They have a lot of flavors more than you could imagine. So many are very interesting and I'd love to try. I tried the peanut butter cup and the ranch. The ranch was suitably savory and the peanut butter was as sweet and tasting as you can imagine. But here comes the reason for my rating. The small bags are like a single serving for $4-$5, in my mind that's a lot for popcorn. Maybe one day my tolerance for expensive popcorn may increase, but I'm not there right now. read more

The store is located in the unassuming shopping area on the SW corner of Alvernon and Grant. Getting in and out varies in time of day, but they have online ordering and delivery! We had the joy of stopping by and discovering this hidden gem. We tried the caramel, cinnamon and churro. Our favorite is the cinnamon Whitney he caramel being a close second and we enjoyed the churro. The churro reminded us a little more of a cinnamon roll both in taste and smell and it was perfectly sweet. The cinnamon was just different, great crunch, a little sweet and little warm and reminded us for cinnamon candy. The caramel is a perfect caramel popcorn and far better than most you can get. The store has gift tins and so many more options. We are looking at about two dozen flavors for us to try and enjoy. Since it has online ordering and is local we will be ordering from them from now on. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and made the experience even better. read more

I first visited Popcorn Country this past Friday and I had an exceptional experience!! Jessica did an amazing job explaining the business, their commitment to quality and the many flavors of popcorn. I tried the kettle korn, panda popcorn and movie theater popcorn. My husband and I liked all versions because the popcorn was fresh and flavorful. They also have large tubs you can purchase and you can get refills at a reduced price, forever. We are going to consider that option in the future. The store is clean and smells delightfully yummy!! I am a huge fan of Popcorn Country! The popcorn is delicious! I don't know of anywhere else where you can get such a variety of flavors and such good quality. I've tried almost every flavor but some of my favorites are churro, chocolate drizzle, panda, yellow cheddar and the lite salt/lite oil (cant't remember the official name, but if you want a "healthier" option this one is just as every bit delicious as the other flavors). I love that they make their gourmet white popcorn with simple, non-gmo USA corn, non-gmo corn oil, and salt. I placed a family bag order of No Salt Lite Oil (1/3 the oil of regular popcorn) and not only did they pop it fresh for me, but they even called me when it was ready! Only thing I wish they had is the ingredients listed on their bagged products as it would help with transparency for those who have allergies. Speaking with Jessica who is an amazing store manager I found out that they've been around since the 1980s which just goes to show you that what they have here is really special. Oh my!!! A party that I attended hired Popcorn Country to cater and normally popcorn excites me when people do different flavors but when I saw this Churro popcorn I KNEW it was different. I recently won an Instagram giveaway and was excited to stop into the store for the first time. They have a ton of flavors and selection and the service was super friendly. I can't explain how much I adore and love Popcorn Country. It all started in January 2021. I had an event where we were able to try the Watermelon Lime Chile flavor and I couldn't help, but buy a few more flavors. It was so enjoyed by everyone I shared with and I think about this place for friends and families birthdays or promotions and anything in between. I stopped by again to pickup the new flavor salt and cracked pepper to ship to my grandpa up in Indiana and had to get some more original favorite (Watermelon Lime Chili). Then... it came to my work. My managers are in the process of buying out the company and so along with the other local gifts I've gathered they had to have some of this popcorn. While ordering online my coworker got a glance and then chose a flavor. When I picked up the order I couldn't help but look along the wall and ended up with even more!
