I am an avid record collector and was excited to find a "record store" near where I live. I went…read moreonce, and I will never go back. It's a guy hanging out with his friends and there is not a big name album in the store. You would have better luck finding a decent record at a thrift store. There is lots of "country," but it isn't even good country--it's like "a Guy you've never heard of covers the hits of yesteryear." I can only assume the owner sells whatever good records he gets on the internet. It's a shame too, because it's prime real estate for a good independent record store (bring in some RSD releases), but as it stands this is a junkyard with a clerk.

I also tried to sell back some items i had purchased there, had never worn, in great shape, and they would not buy them back. When confronting the staff, nobody would own up to who went through my items. I highlighted to them that they rejected things on their own list, girl stated "she was not going to stand here and argue with me on every item". She also agreed with me when i said it is basically up to whoever the clerk's style is that goes through my bag. This pretty much sums up that this location of Plato's is condescending, rude, and discriminatory, even against their own policies. If you go here, do not attempt to sell items because you will have wasted your time by finding out it's not trendy, or they will just not take it because of whatever mood they're in that day, or based on the clerks sense of fashion, or what they think would look good on their shelves.
