Cute little cottage style store, almost looks like a surf shop from the bold colors outside. We'd never been in before and the worker explained that they make 2 styles of pops -- traditional flavored frozen ice pops, and a creamy style pop that's more similar to ice cream. I had a Berries and Cream Pop, and it phenomenal! The berry portions were tart and refreshing, while the creamy parts were sweet, a perfect combo. Loved the big chunks of real berries, too. This spot is a win! read more

Pop Brothers - Store - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Gulfport, Mississippi

The good: Super tasty, a bazillion flavors, handmade, simple and real ingredients. The bad: We went specifically because it has "frozen yogurt" right there in the name and my eldest loooooves ice cream but due to lactose intolerance he needs frozen yogurt. So we are always happy and excited to find frozen yogurt or find lactose free ice cream in something other than vanilla or, worse, sugar free vanilla. He wants chocolate, dang it! So, rude surprise...no frozen yogurt. My eldest once again had to get frozen fruit when all he wanted was chocolate frozen yogurt. Huge bummer. Felt like false advertising. And the seating is not conducive to sitting in and eating. Bench seating. Benches are covered in cloth and therefore very stained from all the frozen pops. They'd be better served with vinyl or leather or plastic or something that won't stain. So, I'm salty about the no frozen yogurt thing. But yeah, they're tasty. Tons of options. Owner is friendly. read more

Pop Brothers - Peanut butter M&M - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Gulfport, Mississippi

Lots (I believe it was 65??) different flavors. Some are totally fruit based (like the pineapple jalapeño I got, or the strawberry my eldest got) and others are ice cream based (like the lemon cake and the peanut butter M&M others in the party had). Not a lot of seating inside, what there is is sort of unorthodox (benches along 2 of the walls). There are no non-diary ice cream flavors, if you're a non-diary dude (like 1 in our patty) you are relegated to the strictly fruit flavored pops. read more

Pop Brothers - Pineapple jalapeño. Sorry I couldn't wait to start eating. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Gulfport, Mississippi

The popsicles are all handmade by the place, and there a lot of different flavors, some of them very unorthodox. For example, there was a pineapple jalapeño flavor, and even one for dogs. I assume the flavors rotate, or at the very least change regularly, so what was there when I went may not be there when you go. The owner (I assume he was the owner) was friendly. He always asked if you had been there before when you first walked in, and if not he gave you a whole spiel on the various flavors. The right side was fruit based (meaning they won't have any dairy or cream), and the middle and left side was all ice cream, dough, etc. He also had some with liquor for the adults. The popsicles themselves were tasty. I had a lemon cake flavored popsicle, my mom had a peanut butter M&M, my dad had a pineapple jalapeño (arguably the most disgusting thing I personally can imagine in a popsicle, but to each his own), and my brother had a strawberry one. He also dipped it in chocolate - something available for all popsicles except the ones that were already dipped (like my lemon cake one) or the liquor ones. The inside of the place wasn't the most conducive to indoor seating. The seats were all just one big bench that wrapped around the place. However, it was comfortable in there, and had some good decorations on the walls. Apparently it's a popular place to go after visiting the beach, since a lot of people came in still in beachwear, some even still wet from the beach. read more

From the moment we came through the door, great service! We had a toddler in our party and the guy working was so sweet and playful with our little fella! The popsicles were so good and the selection was amazing! All around great experience. read more

If you would have told me a couple of days ago that I'd be rating a fancy popsicle shop four stars I wouldn't of believed you. But here we are and I'm here to tell you that Pop Brothers is pretty darn good. My first few experiences with Pop Brothers were somewhat underwhelming. A big part of that is that I had never actually tried a popsicle. You see Pop Brothers not only has a stand alone location, they sell via their mobile carts at all the big events along the coast. Sure the kids loved the different flavors, but I didn't get why a popsicle was $3-4. All of that changed when I finally had one for myself. Pop Brothers has so many different flavors that their menu scrolls through several screens of a giant TV mounted above their coolers. We got, Funky Monkey (peanut butter, banana and chocolate), Very Berry Lemonade (fruit and lemonade), and for me, a German Chocolate. Holy mackerel! That is all I could exclaim when I took my first lick. My pop legitimately tasted like German Chocolate cake. There were actual pieces of coconut in the pop. That thing was so good that I don't even think popsicle is a good enough description. It was so much more than those multicolored things I've had in my freezer three years for my kids. So I loved mine. So my kids loved theirs. So the service was friendly and prompt. Why only four stars? The price. I know I just raved about how good these things were, but for three popsicles with a $1 tip I spent almost $14. Maybe I am just old fashioned and have zero clue what goes into making them. But it seemed a little high. Would I pay that again? Absolutely. Should you go check out the main location? Absolutely. read more

Best popsicles in the South! Stopped by here several times during our stay. Easy counter service and great location downtown. We sat in front to enjoy passers by while enjoying our pops. Just wish the OS location shipped as well. The orange dreamsicle was my fave even tho was sold out one day.... Can't go wrong here for an ice cold sweet treat!!!! read more

Pretty solid pop. We had the cold brew coffee and the berries and cream ones. They have a very wide assortment of pops and it was a bit bewildering to choose from it all. There are dairy free (vegan) options. It would have been nice to have cubed small samples of each popsicle since sometimes a flavor concept doesn't translate well to real life execution. Regardless, we very much enjoyed our popsicles and I wanted more, but decided against it for the sake of my waistline. read more

Best popsicles ever! Delicious I 1000 thousand percent recommend!service was amazing they show you everything to get!

Gourmet Popsicles!! SO GOOD. Not only are these pops made with organic ingredients, but they come in some awesome flavors: strawberry lemonade, key lime pie, and honey and lavender just to name a few. I have had several different flavors, but my fav is key lime pie dipped in white chocolate. The owner is really friendly and cares deeply for the community he serves. Tonight when we visited he was fundrasing for a local who had been injured. Another time when we were there he was taking pops over to the fire station. This place makes me feel good from my stomach to my heart. read more

This place is awesome!!! They have somewhere around 75 different flavors. My husband had the berries and cream which came highly recommended. One of my daughters one that had sprinkles and she loved it. My other daughter had the jolly rancher one and she said it was great. I had the raspberry lemonade and it was fantastic. The popsicles hit the spot after we ate dinner. They have a couple of popsicles that are sugar free for customers who want no sugar added. read more

Stopped here on a whim. Couldn't find prices posted anywhere on the website. Went in and picked up a menu. No prices there either. Finally looked around and found the prices posted to the right of the check out. Ended up ordering a "smoothie". It ended up being more like a slushie. No pineapple or coconut to be seen. I guess they just use flavoring. It was alright but not what I was wanting. Itt was refreshing though since it was pretty hot outside. read more

We stumbled upon this place while killing time. I loved it so much more than I thought I would. It's all popsicles but they're amazing. The flavors are so creative and mine tastes so fresh if that makes any sense. I had watermelon mint. That mint was amazing. You could tell fresh mint leaves were use. My husband even went back for a second one. I can't wait to go back and get more! They even have doggy popsicles! read more

These popsicles hit the spot. While at a local car show, we saw the popsicle cart. Both the strawberry and the key lime pie were delicious. At $4 a piece, they were very reasonably priced for the quality of product. read more

They are good I ordered here and let tell, it was better than dog and tick going at it and the dog won. No serious the people are very nice, the establishment is clean and they love strangers. I love going to pops! The ingredients are so fresh and the workers are so knowledgeable. They always are very kind and answer any questions. My favorite is the funky monkey (banana, peanut butter) and it is so good. I enjoy that they are a local business ran by nice people. They offer catering which is amazing. They also packed one of the popsicles with a REUSABLE (still not over how awesome that is) cold pack! They also offer a rewards program which a lot of places stopped doing. read more

This place deserves more than 5 stars! We stopped in on a whim during our trip to the gulf and the popsicles were amazing! First, they are homemade and all natural. Second, there are so many choices. No exaggeration, there had to be around 100 flavor choices! Third, they are absolutely delicious!!!!!! And bonus, if you want to buy multiple to take some home they will put them in a bag with some dry ice so they will stay frozen for the drive. This is the kind of place that you remember and dream of eating there again long after you go home. read more

Very very nice worker (Arnold)! Very knowledgeable! We got the Vietnamese coffee which was so good!!!!!!!! We also had the watermelon and mint which was very fresh tasting! Everything is pretty much organic. The cream popsicles uses a Greek yogurt and so it tastes like a lot of calories it is about 100 calories. They have so so many flavors including rambutan! (A tv screen that cycles flavors!). it is 3-5$ per popsicle which is somewhat expensive but worth it! we definitely will be back! read more

Our experience here was simply delightful. We heard of this place, which to my understanding opened just last year, through word of mouth and of course Yelp! itself. We walked in at a good time since no one else was in there. The owner greeted us right away and was incredibly friendly. He explained to us how they make their Popsicles fresh, use local fruits, cane sugar, no chemicals, etc. He was very thorough in his explanation, which was awesome in itself. We decided to each get one Popsicle. I got the Oreo Cheesecake and my girlfriend got the Reese's Peanut Butter Cheesecake dipped in white chocolate. Both were very, very tasty. The whole experience took maybe at most 5 minutes. Couldn't be happier with it. We will be back for sure and will be telling everyone about this great place!!! read more

This place was fantastic! I wish they were open later. MS Needs more artisan/gourmet gems like this. The flavors were unique and the Popsicles were excellent quality (and size); they make them in-house. You can choose from fruit-base or cream-base Popsicles. I like that they'll pack your Popsicles in dry ice for you if you don't plan to eat them right away, which keeps them frozen about 4 hours. I can't wait to try their fig and honey. The service was wonderful too, extremely friendly and informative girl at the counter. read more

AMAZING! A MUST STOP! We decided to stop in and have a cool treat on a warm day walking around. The gentleman staffing the shop was SO helpful, incredibly knowledgeable about the products and history of the establishment. We were so impressed, that nearly all of the members of our group ordered a second flavor to try. We have also made plans to make another visit before heading home!! Flavors we tried today: Pineapple, Papaya, Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit, Lemon Cake, Unicorn Magic Dust, Love Bomb, Pineapple Jalapeño, Peanut butter M&M and Raspberry Lemonade. There wasn't a bad flavor in the bunch! Greatest reviews from today were for the Raspberry Lemonade, Lemon Cake, Dragon Fruit and Peanut butter M&M. We are already looking forward to trying more flavors! read more

For the last 3 hours I've been wondering how to get a dozen pops back with me to New York. I guess I could bring an igloo container as my personal carry on? They sell dry ice for a buck. But then what do I do with my actual carry-on? Maybe I get a soft container and shove it into my other bag? Do airlines allow dry ice? Is it dangerous? AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!! The struggle! I almost veered off the road when I saw this adorable little shack. I love popsicles! I'm a grown woman and I love them. I'm not embarrassed. Never had a seen a business dedicated to the pop. How fun! Unique! I was hoping maybe they had like a lime or maybe something wild like cucumber. What they actually have is the stuff of dreams. The flavors are simple, complex, interesting, some are creamy some are fruity. And they have SO many options. These m-eff-er's are the Leonardo da Vinci of pops! So far I have had the Blackberry Greek Yogurt, Cherry, Blackberry Lemonade, Vietnamese Coffee... ALL fantastic. But today I got the Dulce de Leche. Holy. S&@! This is one of the best things I've ever tasted. I'm leaving Mississippi next week; never to return. These people need to start shipping nationwide or get their asses in Whole Foods. read more

What nice things can I say about this place that haven't already been said? I absolutely love the pops here. Granted, they're not all the best, but they have many that are pretty darn good. I love that they have pops for dogs, too! The staff is really friendly and polite. The venue is clearly being worked on to give it a better appearance and it's looking very nice! When it comes to the price, yes, it's over priced if you expect the price of a Walmart popsicle. It's a popsicle shop, of course it's above average on prices because it's their specialty. I'm ok with the price because I appreciate the quality and flavor of this place. Overall, this is a common hang out spot for us. Will be coming back for the years to come! read more

Cute spot in Gulfport across from the Ship Island Excursions. The staff were super friendly and had a recommendation for everything. I had the Dreamsicle and it was "the sicle of my dreams"! My husband and I have driven past this place a few times and I have always wanted to go in. By chance we stumbled upon these pops at the Margaritaville in Biloxi. It was a super hot day so we figured, why not cool off with some local pops? They were a little pricey at $4.00 a pop but we figured it was better to support local businesses. I got the Berries & Cream and boy was it amazing! It had fresh fruit frozen right into the pop! The combination of sweet from the pop, rich and creamy from the cream, and tangy from the berries was very refreshing. I snapped a pic and looked them up when I got home and was surprised to see it was from here...where I have wanted to go all along! So happy I got to try it and so excited to try more of their other flavors. It was also awesome to see that they had something going on with the Margaritaville. Go local businesses!! read more

Quality ingredients, clever flavor combinations, and locally owned. Are they expensive? Yes, but worth the price for a luxe frozen treat.

Love this cute pop shop! The menu is extensive and it was hard choosing what I wanted. The employees were nice and friendly! They gave us some good recommendation. I had the lavender milk and honey and my boyfriend got the Oreo! Both were delicious! His had actually oreos in them. Mine had the right amount of flavor. The lavender wasn't too overpowering.
