First off, the lack of professionalism by this lady is extreme. My husband and I. Pretty much my whole family was monitoring the weather for an event I had planned for my sons birthday. The policy stated no refunds if paid in full. Got it. And goes on to say that in the event of hazardous weather conditions the even would be cancelled. Money refunded (deposit is that is ) or credit. Never did I get a call responding to my messages about the upcoming weather conditions. I even let the lady know I would leave it her decision The NIGHT before I get a message stating that the weather will be fine and the equipment would be delivered at the scheduled time before 12 noon.... Paid the remaining balance and planned to host a family event. At approximately 10:59am the next day I get a message from her number which now is an automated service , stating to shut down equipment due to DANGEROUS weather conditions. I didn't even have the equipment yet and when I called two different numbers no one answered !! I proceeded to text the number advising that I don't want the equipment delivered if I can't even turn it on ! Immediately I get a text stating that order has been canceled then proceed to get an automated message stating that I have a credit for a future event!!! This lady took the remaining balance, considered paid in full knowing that the weather would be bad and is now trying to hold me to her bogus contact. Not only that ... she was soooooo busy she couldn't even give me a 5 min phone call to resolve the crisis I was having. Claimed to be so busy with another event , proceeding to send messages stating she'd call in an hour. Never did. Yet had all the time to send emails cutting and pasting sections of the contact to fit her narrative !! Even highlighting !! Never even called till the following Monday !! Then to call her back to realize she's not even going to give me the consideration or even the courtesy to pull over and take me off speaker or even roll up the car windows. Like I said to you before !! Shame on you ! The last thing hard working families is another scammer , scamming $500 + like this lady!! Cause apparently as long as she gets her money don't matter if a bunch of first graders get blown away with a jumpy house. Disgrace !! Be careful seems her family is in the business of selling anything to get a dime. Never have I ever wrote a review or went to BBB But this is by far too much !!

This place is the BEST!…read more I coordinate homecoming at the high school I work at. We thought it would be a great idea to have a balloon arch for the community to walk through. Not knowing any local places that did this, I googled and found a few places. I inquired at three different businesses, and by far, Anthony's was the best. Best price, best service, best overall! The day of the event, they were punctual upon arrival and overcame the horrible wind we were experiencing. They made the balloon arch stay up right and we got a ton of complements. ALSO, we had asked Anthony to make another arch in short timing for the football team to run under. He was so receptive, and came back within the hour with two towers that looked SO cool. We were able to transport the towers and use them at our dance the next day. Overall, if you are looking for someone to do balloon art for your event, this is the guy. I recommend him HIGHLY! I wish I could give 10 stars!!

So where does one go to rent linens for a party? Yeah, I didn't quite know either, but thank…read moregoodness for Simply Elegant Catering (the caterer who knows all). And according to Simply Elegant Catering....one goes to Tabletoppers. Tapletoppers has it all from solid colored linens to themed linens for every holiday. As tempted as I was to get casino themed linens for the Yelp Fashion Show I opted for elegant (yet surprisingly affordable) burgundy linens instead....we'll save the casino linens for Yelp Casino Night! ;) I spoke to a lovely woman named Jen on the phone who promptly took my order and then Tabletoppers took care of everything from there: they dropped them off a day before the event and picked them up a day later! And I didn't even have to put them on the tables...thanks again to Simply Elegant! I noticed Tabletoppers has a second location in Atlanta, but was disappointed they don't have a location in Florida or I'd definitely be ordering my linens from them for my upcoming wedding! But I'm sure I'll be using them again for my party planning needs right here in Chicago! PS- Tabletoppers read my review and informed me that they do in fact ship nationwide so using them for my wedding (or any other out of town event) is definitely a possibility!
