Sure the lifeguards are a little bossy and whistle at you a lot, but that's all quite understandable. No one wants their kids falling on the hard floors, so they tell you not to climb the dividers, no running, etc... No elder wants you jumping on them while they're trying to get a workout in. All these rules and lifeguards barking at people is for your own safety. Rules are in place for a reason. No one wants to see you get hurt. As for the people in the front desk. I didn't get any attitude of any sort. They seemed nice and helpful too. All-in-all I'd definitely come back again. ‍

Well supposly if you go in the swimmer area and then go into the kids area it's bad cause of the wate which obviously is weird so my mom decided to go talk to the manager and no she is not a karen or whatever for talking to the manager she had an reason to talk to him and she came back and said that he said it got to crowded in the kids area and the swimmer area which was totally different from what the lifeguards said which is crazy that they just lied to our faces and honestly the swimmer area and kid area was NOT crowded at all only one lane in the swimmer area was being used by a younger kid like younger than my sister and we even saw her go on the pool with the slide and she didn't get in trouble but we did? made no sense and it was just very weird and the manager was very petty to my mom which is not correct to do and the lifeguards lied straight to our face and even if it was true and that something with the pool water, fix it! it's not our problem you can't fix your own pool that has been up for a while and no wonder because the water looks bubbly which is not because of the water splasing onto each other it's gross water and the stairs up to the slide are disgustin as well, like hire a cleaner if you can because i do not wanna be stepping on that. Over all this pool sucks no offense, it's gross and all the above and the manager, Eric or Erick, please be better manger and stop being so petty you are aleast 40 or older to be acting like this like if your pool is causing this annoyance to you, you should even own a pool or work at it. Slide, mushroom water features, shallow to deep slope. Staff usually very nice. Not overcrowded, seating available to watch the kids. In my opinion, this is a vital pool as it's the only one out this far. Its location to East Mesa Rec where they have activities and free summer lunches makes it a great place for east Mesa youth to go. Heaven knows we need it out this way.

Bird poop was all over the lounge chairs and there was very little shade. The majority of the time the kiddy part of the pool wasn't well monitored and the adults were expected to keep an eye on the kids, the slide and the lap area were the only areas with constant supervision from the life guards.The pool was really shallow, and the only part of the park that was satisfactory was the water which was completely clear. I do not plan to return to this pool.

The Westside Natatorium is accessible to the public and they offer public lap reservations, host competitions, team training, and they even help kiddos how to swim. The facility is setup with separate entries for spectator viewing and there are dedicated spectator bathrooms and locker room for those who are swimming. What really stood out to me is how they have an upper deck for spectators and there are plenty of rows for friends and family to watch. If you are interested in getting a swim workout in there are two ways to go about it. You can make a reservation ahead of time for a one hour session or you can roll the dice and simply walk-in. I have yet to make a reservation because the lanes are so large that it's pretty easy to grab a lane. Each lane is able to hold up to four swimmers. I've lucked out and have only had to share at most a lane with one other swimmer. Now when it comes to pricing you can pay for a swim session at a time, at the price of .... wait for it ... it's quite unbelievable ... for three dollars! You can also get unlimited swim for thirty days for only $30.

Now I don't normally like big crowds or community gatherings (especially on a weekend), but I came…read morehere with my 2 daughters and we really enjoyed ourselves. Entry was $3 each even if you don't swim. Plenty of lifeguards on duty. The deepest area of the pool is 4 feet and the shallowest is 2ft 4 inches. Eases the mind about any drowning accidents. There's music playing the entire time and there's also a cool little water slide that requires a certain height to go down it, so that those will be able to to stand in the water after landing in the water. Being my first time, I had questions and different interactions with the staff and all were kind and helpful. Signs say no food, but there are vending machines with a sign that reads "use at your own risk". It's fitting because my first attempt at buying a bag of chips, I was shorted and the chips never came out. The second time (yea, I really wanted a snack), I went for a Reese's and it was a win. So yes...at your own risk. There's a little outdoor area for you to stand and dry without exiting. May be a cool place to bring the kids for the summer or even a small little birthday gathering. There's a splash pad outside for the littles and some picnic area seating under a couple of gazebos. First come, first serve I imagine. My kids wanna come back, so we we'll be back. A little over an hour was all we needed to enjoy.
