The staff was super nice, they helped us with many things such as booking great places to eat and giving handy tips to visit the city. We got upgraded to a better room (the next door, see website for more info) in order not to be disturbed by a party going on when we arrived, nice thought. The house itself is very well decorated, looks like a loft you would want to own!! The garden and the pool are also very nice and relaxing. The breakfast was beyond expectations (we weren't even aware it was included). The only small regret I have is that we came at very calm period and didn't experience the busy/party crowd. Most of the time we had the entire place for ourselves (which is also nice in a way).

I went the traditional route and chose some Argentinean classics: locro, fugazzetta, and empanadas. Everything was filling and high quality with very reasonable prices. If you're looking for a solid local spot, this one delivers. Unlike Cafe Tortoni, this place is not touristy. And the space is huge as well and is perfect for a large group.

The billiards hall downstairs holds professional championships. I took no pictures at the hall since there were some serious games going on. The food and the service were very good. And the waitress greeted us with a kiss on the cheeks, very common here. In the states we shake hands, here you get a peck on the cheek. Only downside and it had absolutely nothing to do with the restaurant, was a manifestation of protests which aside from being peaceful was sort of a pain for those who needed to move around the main parts of the city.
