We had a great experience with Poodles2Doodles. I found the puppy I was interested in, made a deposit, contacted the owner, and sealed the deal all within a few hours. Jill was very friendly and professional. We elected to make the 16 hour round trip to pick up our puppy, and Jill was very accommodating as our plans changed due to weather. On our second day home she checked in to see how things were going and assured us she is available should questions arise. I was very impressed with the beautiful kennels and greeting area at Poodles2Doodles. This is definitely a family business run with great care. read more

We purchased a retiring breeder dog from Jill in February. We were told he had a clean bill of health, and that he was great with other dogs and people and children. Now that we have had our dog for a little over 3 months, we don't feel Jill was entirely honest with us. I reached out to her with my concerns, particularly about the health of our dog, and she has stopped responding. Our vet found dental calculus and gingivitis. She also found gingival recessions and periodontal disease on several teeth. This will cost us well over $1,000 to treat and it's definitely not a health issue that arises quickly. His oral hygiene was not adequately cared for. We continue to work with our dog on socialization, but he does not understand how to play with other dogs- only how to breed with them and he is very fearful of strangers. I would not recommend Poodles 2 Doodles to anyone after our experience. read more

Do not buy puppies from this puppy mill! These people treat their females as nothing more than baby machines. Go look at their site: they breed each one twice a year, i.e. every estrus cycle. This is very bad practice that is cruel to the dog and will harm her health long-term, plus it will produce weaker, sickly puppies since the mother doesn't have enough reserves in her body to make a fully healthy litter. Her body needs plenty of time to recover after pregnancy and nursing, which are hard on the body. A female dog should never be bred more than once a year, at the absolute most. Any reputable vet and breeder can tell you that. Don't let your greed make you evil. If you want to produce more puppies, purchase more females; don't make your existing ones breed twice as hard!! read more

We purchased 2 tiny bernedoodles (25#s each) from Jill and could not be more satisfied. Daisy and Duke are now over 2 years old and are wonderful dogs. Jill was always available to answer our questions before and after delivery and followed up with us several times in the first year. She was even able to get them from Iowa to Phoenix via a dog deliverer that worked for her. So convenient. We have referred other Phoenix families her way and they are equally satisfied. read more

I purchased a mini-sheepadoodle from Jill in February. I was very concerned about how large he was going to get. Jill assured me that he would be under 40 pound. He is only 30 pounds now at 10 months and my vet says he will not get much larger. Jill was very nice and told us a lot about the dog and what to expect. Jill was easy to work with. She was willing to meet us outside of normal business hours. That was important to us because we lived 2 hours away. Baxter is the most wonderful, healthy and loving dog. I could not be happier with my puppy. read more

I would give this a big zero if I could. This breeder is horrible. We have 3 pups from her and 2 of them have serious issues. One of our pups has had 2 total hip replacements before he was 2 years old all due to genetics ! We contacted Jill and she totally ignored us. On top of her extreme prices, we have spent another $ 20,000 on vet bills just on one dog. The other pup can't be helped. Her legs are bowing due to her breeding also. DONT buy from this breeder. There is so many other options out there. I really believe she is over breeding her poor dogs. No dog should have to go through the pain our pups have endured. read more

From the outside this sounds like and looks like a great family business with puppies raised in the home with kids. This is not true. After purchasing our pup and picking him up, we quickly realized that he was very sick. What kind of honest breeder gives you a sick puppy?? It took months to get his tummy working properly and the vet visits weren't cheap. We're ended up having to sign up for their wellness plan (and paid monthly fees) and paid for other tests and meds that aren't covered. Also, per contract, our puppy was supposed to be microchiped. He wasn't. We had an x-ray taken to confirm this. Do not trust this breeder. We recieved no compensation from the breeder. Despite what our contract said. This are are very expensive puppies that are treated like mill dogs. Stay away. If you would like to see any and all emails and texts between the owner and I, just shoot me a message. Update: 9/9/18 The breeder is suggesting an open return policy? Yes, let's fall in love with a puppy you've waited for months for and return it because it's sick and needs help. I wouldn't do that to a child... why on earth would one do that to a puppy? If you read my post clearly, the X-ray was for the microchip (that we paid for and never got). Our pup went through two rounds of intestinal parasite treatment with the breeder and this was never mentioned to us. All of this is true and as my vet said "A good breeder truly cares about the puppies health first and foremost and honors their contracts. Your breeder obviously doesn't." Fact: our puppy was very sick Fact: he was not microchiped as we paid for and was agreed upon in the purchasing contract. Fact: breeder didn't honor her contract As I have said to many people who have contacted me in this regard, this was our experience. Many people have had positive experiences. I wish ours had been, but it wasn't. As for an alias, it's so that I can leave an honest review in a place that I frequent, without having to hear about it the next time I visit. It's not some sneaky thing. I'm sorry you do not like this honest review. However, there were many moments that things could have been handled differently that would have 100% changed the outcome and would have changed the review for the better. The situation was handled unprofessionally from start to finish. read more

I dont want one of your puppies. I asked you why u spay and neuter at a young age. U couldnt give me a reason. I said maybe if you had a good reason it would make sense. But you dont. You only care about making money and not breeding healthy puppies. Sad read more

Jill is very unprofessional and very petty. She took my deposit but would not disclose any information on my chosen litter. She says she does ultrasounds after a a specific time AND SHE DOESN NOT. She doesn't even have the decency to confirm litters. Every time i had tried to follow up to even confirm the litter she came with every excuse as to why she doesn't have the proper information. Using personal reasons every time. I would not suggest purchasing any pup from this lady. If she treats her customers as such i cam only imagine what they do to these pups who aren't able to speak for themselves! PLEASE TAKE HEED TO ALL OF HER NEGATIVE REVIEWS! read more

Texted Jill on Facebook, her phone number, and email. She replied back to me with a few short sentences. I felt like she doesn't really care. She replied back to an email, but when I emailed back, I haven't heard from her in week. I tried asking my boyfriend to text, and email her. Also ignored. I tried texting her AGAIN. And I was left on read. On her website she portrays to be someone she isn't. I don't believe this breeder cares about her puppies or anyone who is interested. Don't even bother with this breeder. She might not even reply back to you to be honest... I attached a few pictures of her Ignoring me. read more

I wish I read all these reviews before purchasing my puppy. Jill is the most unprofessional person I ever dealt with. She is rude and the fact that she is fighting every feedback speaks volume. We just bought Calvin, our new 8 week old Bernedoodle from Poodles 2 Doodles. Our experience with them could not have been better. We picked out which puppy we wanted after asking various questions about the puppies and put down a deposit. We picked up our puppy a week later at their beautiful facility in Iowa. They made the whole process very easy and made us feel comfortable about reaching out with any questions. Our little guy has a wonderful disposition!! We are all in Thank you read more

This breeder was recommended to me when I was looking for a puppy. I had contacted several breeders and hesitated with this one due to the distance and not being able to meet the puppy in person. My first pup was a poodle in 2020. I live in Calif so he came via a flight nanny. Love at first sight the minute I picked him up. He is so awesome I decided to get another puppy six months later. (Crazy I know but it was covid). Fell in love with one of the Mamas and fast forward got not one but 2 mini golden doodle pups from that litter. They were delivered right to my door. They are the constant joys of my life. I've recommended this breeder to several friends and we now have a small pack of 6 P2D pups near me in the SF BAY Area. All of these pups have the qualities that any family would want -- healthy, confident, smart, well socialized. All my pups were fixed at 8 weeks old before they came to me. I've since learned that some owners don't want this. For me I didn't think twice about it because I was not interested in breeding my dogs. I've fostered many animals over the years and the shelters likewise fix pups and kittens at around that age before they go up for adoption. It's 5 stars for the quality of the pups that I know and have laid hands on. Took 1 star away because the communication from the business when there are questions could use some improvement. read more

I had a terrible experience and very expensive vet charges because of this breeder. I had to take my puppy to a dermatologist to determine what the cause of hair loss was to her back. The vet did a biopsy and $850.00 dollars later told me she had permanent scarring due to a burn that caused the skin cells to die. My puppy was born in December in Iowa. The only way to correct the bald spot is plastic surgery. I told Jill from the very beginning there was a problem. After I told her what the dermatologist said she became radio silent. Also when arranging for her delivery to California, she kept changing the flight information from one day until the next and hour by hour. The person who delivered her was very rude. read more

We purchased a female Cavapoo and couldn't be happier. She is beautiful, healthy and everything we wanted. I read through all the reviews and saw many positives but some negatives too. I chose to move forward for several reasons. 1. This breeder has a long history online so it was clear they are not running a scam (there are so many scammers in this industry!). 2. They use "guardian families" for many of their parents which means that these dogs have happy homes and are well loved. I think this is the most humane model for a breeder to use. 3. The complaints weren't about the quality or health of the dogs. My experience was that they are professional and responsive. They were quick to email all the information and contract. They do have definite rules about payments etc. but they were reasonable. It IS a business but they also seem to care very much about the dogs and their well being. I will recommend them to others. read more

I have reached out to you MANY times regarding a $500 deposit that I want refunded because the puppy was to be a gift for my mom--but turns out she told me the wrong breed name. I asked for this refund within 48 hours of paying you so there's no way I caused you to lose out on selling a pup--bc the litter wasn't even born yet. It's been months and I have not received a reply. Very unethical. Amazing how every week I'm still receiving emails about new pups. But you can't respond to me regarding a deposit. read more

We had a great experience with Poodles2Doodles. Found a puppy we wanted and put deposit down. Stayed in contact with the breeder and purchased puppy with no issues. The comments about being neutered before sending home simply was not my experience. My dog was dewormed, vaccination up to date and microchipped. This isn't a puppy mill as some have referred to it as but an ethical breeder. I would buy another dog from them. read more

Feel confident in buying from Poodles 2 Doodles! They are very responsive and professional. Ask for Jill!

SHADY AND UNETHICAL BUSINESS. Jill wanted to neuter/spray dogs prior to being sent home. We spoke to multiple veterinary offices and determined this is not healthy for any puppy. Jill refuses to refund my deposit after telling her my discomfort with spaying a dog so young. She did NOT disclose this information prior to placing a deposit and it is nowhere on the website. She will not return calls or texts. Please avoid poodles 2 doodles. read more

If you are skeptical about buying a dog from Poodles 2 Doodles - don't be! They were so insanely amazing throughout the whole process. You can't always believe what you read online. At first I was scared cause I saw bad reviews but I swear to you - she is the best dog breeder I've ever known. She always responded to my texts and calls, she made sure I felt comfortable about everything, and the puppy I bought is the most amazing thing! I am so happy we bought a puppy from a family who truly loves what she does. She spent 2 months keeping me in the loop until we had the chance to bring our puppy home. Thanks so much for our new addition! read more

Please do not use this breeder! I sent in my deposit if $500 and right before we weee to receive our puppy she called us and told us that the mother ate all of her puppies. i would give her no star if i could. i contacted jill in december 2 asked about a tiny doodle was quoted a price of three thousand dollars on december 4th gave my deposit of 500.00 now that the puppies are born she is trying to scam me for another 1000.00 saying that they are now 4000.00 but my deposit was made before she started changing her prices. she has also changed her website about 4 times to try and back up her scams. so now i have to get a lawyer to sue her. awful cant warn you enough about this person. if you would like to see any of my emails from her let me know and i will forward them to you. read more

Unethical is the best word I can use to describe this experience. We had to fight to get the pup after paying and her having our money for a week. She even agreed that it should not have taken that long(we have pictures of all texts, emails, and messages.) She had given him to a nanny to fly to us. We were told then that he flew home with the nanny, which was between us. When in fact, he was flown the other direction and was on the opposite side of the country. He did not come with what the she says. Not even his medical/health records. He came with food and 4 syringes of something that we were told by our vet to not give him since we had no idea of what it was (we have pictures). We had to ask several times for a copy of his records. He also has an umbilical hernia which was not disclosed to us and will need surgery for. We have pictures of emails, texts, and messages with Jill. We highly recommend you stay away from this breeder. Sadly, it caused so much stress for us. After almost 3 weeks of the puppy being available to come home and a week of having all of our money, we had to fight to get our puppy. I also recommend looking at other review sites and under different names as she has changed her business name several times. If you would like to see the conversations, just message me. read more
