We boarded them multiply times a year and for as long as two weeks and we always picked up healthy and happy dogs (clean too, thanks to their grooming service). Diamond Brook always goes up and above like also washing our dogs beds after a stay and a grooming, this so everyone and thing were clean when we picked up our beloved pets. The facility is immaculate inside and out and the owners live on the property. A big plus for us. We have used many kennels over the years but never with this quality of service (and some down right horrible). Once we found Diamond Brook, we knew we were set. We have since lost out two beloved puppies but I still recommend Diamond Brook to all my family and friends. My in-laws dogs will be staying there later this week. I would give 10 stars if possible!

I've had two really great experiences with Catamount Grooming…read more I occasionally watch my daughter's 60 pound lab/boxer mix. He was hurt having his nails cut as a puppy so became fearful and protective. As a result, he was routinely muzzled whenever he needed a nail trim. Three months ago, I called Sandra, explained the situation and made an appointment. Confidently, Sandra said she would not muzzle him unless it was necessary. To my surprise, she trimmed his nails and DID NOT use a muzzle. Sandra recognized him for the patient, gentle boy he is. I almost cried when she returned him to the waiting area and said "all set, no problem". Fast forward to today, Sandra once again trimmed Brutus's nails without incident. I could hear her saying "good boy" with each "clip"; she is truly wonderful and gifted. She is pleasant and clearly wants what's best for her animal clients. I can not thank Sandra enough for how she's completely turned around what was once a very fearful and unpleasant experience.

I would NEVER bring an animal to this place again. Very poor follow-ups by the vets…read morethemselves--they're great on the first visit, love to take your money for high priced tests, but after that, they communicate through the tech, so good luck in getting answers to questions. They boast about a triage system so that there would be always be a vet available if your particular vet was busy or away from the office, but that triage system was non-existent (unless there was a high-priced test, of course.) Their medications are ALWAYS higher-priced than any other vet, Their medications, tests, visits, x-rays, ultrasound (LOW quality), etc. are higher priced than other vets and their medications are most double what you pay online. When I said this to them, they glomped on to online vs. local, and how much more they have to pay for medication than online services. Okay, but double the price? And why are other vets' prices yes, higher than online, but so much lower than RVC&SC's? This was undoubtedly the most expensive vet we've ever been to and the absolutely worst service we've ever had. We were new to to this area, and we chose this vet based on a phone call and a visit. They talk a good talk, but that's as far as it goes. The worst thing of all: our dog suffered through a sickness while they played around with this test and that test, this med and that med. Although they were nice enough, but It was all about the money, how much could they get from us. "It could be this, so let's do this test. And let's rule out this, so let's do this test." They say they offer urgent care, but that just means they'll take you in right away so they can bilk you out of $$ for tests, then they leave you hanging. Are we bitter? Yes. Our dog deserved better. We were new to to this area, and we chose this vet based on a phone call and a visit. We waited too long to make the move because our dog was sick and we had invested too much faith as well as $$ in this place, and our dog suffered for it. Finally, we called it a loss and found another vet and got the immediate care our dog deserved. This was our experience, but since then, when we've mentioned our experience to others, we've heard all kinds of other stories that included surgery. I won't go in to them here because they weren't our experiences and we can't validate them. I would recommend due diligence and awareness if you choose this vet.

Worth the wait, drive, or whatever obstacles are preventing you from booking with Britney!…read more I booked my dog's first appointment a few months back after reading some suggestions for reactive dogs on a FB group. I make the hike from Saratoga, as Britney does an absolutely fabulous job! My dog struggles with dog-reactivity and general anxiety. Britney does an amazing job at making him comfortable while he is there. Not only is he happy, but I have never seen him so clean! Very affordable, and worth every penny (plus some!) I am officially a repeat customer, and will be telling everyone I know what an amazing place this is.
