The boat itself is incredibly spacious inside and outside the cabin, and very comfortably accommodated our group, along with a private chef for our catered excursion. We had plenty of time to "booze and cruise", swim, and take turns using the JetSki. Captain Kevin helpfully advised us on the ideal spots for each activity, and even acted as a tour guide for some of the noteworthy sightseeing hotspots we encountered. Tiffany from Y Charter was a delight to work with. She was attentive to our needs from the day I confirmed the reservation through the day of our sailing, and made herself available to answer my questions via phone and text. What an amazing trip we had traveling to and from Bimini on the Tropic Ocean seaplane!! We bought…read moreour trip the day before when weather unexpectedly cancelled our trip home from the Caribbean. It was so easy to book online and we found a coupon that made the trip 15% cheaper. It turns out it was cheaper than the ferry - which we didn't realize was down for maintenance anyway (Plus I get sea sick so sea plane was much preferred by me) The check in process was so easy peasy and they had such a nice area where we waited for our flight. We didn't have to get there very early like you need to when you fly commercial. They took our luggage and weighed it and then they loaded us all up in the sea plane. We had 2 pilots and 4 passengers on the flight and the flight was about 25 min. I'm not gonna lie I was nervous as we went down the runway in the tiny plane - but once we were up in the air it was sooo cool to fly under the clouds. And landing on the water was was of the coolest thing ever. Maybe only second to taking off on the water runway. Overall it was such an amazing experience and when I go back to Bimini (which I plan to do) I will take the Tropic Ocean Airways.

We missed our flight and had to book another flight from another commercial airliner on the day of in order to get back which cost us an extra $3,000+! They told us to contact them once we got back to see if they can accommodate a partial refund, but numerous attempts later and many months later, they are ignoring us and will not respond, even though we've sent 3 emails and called them as well. We are now having to resort to negative reviews, since they are unresponsive.

Units are not luxurious, but they are well kept and clean and are a HUGE bargain on this pricy island. There are even bikes available! Only gripes are the hourly daytime church bells across the street and some street/park maintenance noise, but most travelers are probably not going to be as noise sensitive as I am. It was nice to hear kids out having a good time in the well utilized park next door and the talking birds across the street. It is surprising how many kids are on the island. Key Biscayne is a great place to take children. We felt very safe at all times. If you are serious beach people, you may not like the 10-15 minute hike to the beach but we were ok with it. Not much nightlife on the Island but we enjoyed visiting the Ritz across the street and the Latin band and rum bar. Otherwise, you have to drive off the island to find places like Tobacco Rd, Little Havana (don't miss!), and Van Dykes on the south beach pedestrian mall on Lincoln.

I was able to catch the trolley a couple of times, but no matter what time of day I caught it, It was packed. Standing room only. Sometimes it was so packed that the driver just passed me at while I was at the stop and just waved me off. The trolley was relatively clean,, but it appears that there are not many rules, at least ones being enforced. I saw people on the trolley with lots of luggage and even a motorized scooter. The trolley has clearly marked stops, for the most part, but appeared to not be on any type of schedule. There would be 30 to 40 minutes between trolleys, then you would have trolleys 2 back to back. I would say that I was able to catch the trolley about 50% of my attempts. You can track the trolley's movement via the app to keep you updated as to where they are at in real time. The trolley is ADA compliant and most have a lift in the back. They also have A/C, which is a plus. I almost wish that they would charge a small fee like a dollar to ride, to free up some space. It appeared that some people were riding because they were just bored. Anyway, I love this concept and that people have an affordable way to get around the city. I just wish there was more space available on them and that heir schedule was more reliable.

When it comes to offshore fishing in South Florida, Orlando knows everything there is to it. It starts with great bait and it ends with fish for dinner. I have been lucky enough to have fished with numerous charter boats, but one thing that sets Nomad Fishing Charters is the ability and willingness to teach you every step of the way. Most charters just let you reel in the fish, which Orlando will let you do, but if you want to learn how it's done Orlando has the patience / knowledge to teach you. On the latest adventure with NFC we flew kites and hooked up king fish, bonitas, and the biggest sail fish I have ever caught. The wrap around open fisherman, I think it's a 30ft + whitewater great boat to fish on. I will be calling him soon to schedule our next fishing trip.

I have been on many fishing charters throughout the Caribbean and the Northeast and this was by far one the best experiences I have had. It didn't take long for me to realize that Capt. O is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about fishing! It's a great feeling fishing with a captain that does everything he can to put you on fish. We caught 3 Mahi, 1 shark and 1 sailfish which was incredible! If you you are looking to book a fishing charter in Miami I would definitely give Capt. O a call!
