I purchased one it was labeled as a rump roast…read more When I got home and started cutting up, I then found out it was a whole bottom round (a cheaper roast instead of a rump roast. I contacted them on their web site and was told it was labeled correctly and that a rump roast comes from a bottom round. I did research and the bottom round is the bottom section of the rear hip and the rump is on top of the bottom round and is more tender. It is the top section of the hip separate from the bottom round. I went to Conseco's and they had the same exact roast on sale, but their label reads bottom round. Breau Mart's reply told me if I needed more info to reply and provide my phone number and they would get back to me. I replied plus sent the 4 different request and after a week I still have not received a reply. I am very disappointed with them and was sold a bottom round labeled and advertised as a rump. They have very poor customer service.

If you don't trust me to walk your aisles without stealing, then the equivalent would be me inviting the owner into my home and asking him to empty his pockets before he leaves. Same principle--same level of disrespect. If this is truly a policy, then apply it consistently. Purses are just as capable of concealing merchandise as backpacks, yet they're not treated the same. That inconsistency makes this feel less like security and more like selective enforcement. Other stores in the area--including Rouse's, Breauxmart, Zuppardo's, Robért's, Dorignac's, and even Walmart--manage theft risk without treating customers this way. (Updated/expanded review)…read more I've lived in a couple different places now, and am usually a regular at Walmart. Based on that, I can say that this Walmart store is bad on multiple levels. Stock = Even pre-pandemic, finding items in stock was hit or miss, especially cheaper brand items. I also frequently find items on the shelves that have already been opened, presumably thanks to the customers. Maybe not Walmart's fault, but worth noting because it impacts that shopping experience; there was a time I couldn't find a single unopened box of the dryer sheets I wanted. Pharmacy = This pharmacy does not actually have an Express Lane, they just have the sign up for decoration. I've waited at the Express Lane counter while they skip me to help people in the regular line. Then they either call me over to the regular counter computer or have to turn on the Express counter computer. If I have to wait just as long as normal, in the same line as normal, and use the same computer as normal - or worse, wait for the Express computer to be ready - then there's nothing Express about it. Photo Center = I waited for 20 minutes for someone to appear at the Photo Center counter, but they never did; mind you, this was around 3:30pm, not lunch time. I tried to get an employee from the nearby Electronics section to help me find someone for the Photo Center, but she informed me that she couldn't/wouldn't help. I finally grabbed a passing employee - possibly a manager? - who went in the Photo Center to look for my order herself. She said it wasn't in the store, despite what the shipping tracker saying "Delayed, At Store" (or something similar). My photos showed up 1-2 weeks later, and the shipping tracker never changed, so despite insistence to the contrary I strongly suspect that my photos had been misplaced at the store. After that chaos, never again. Lock and key = All of the hard alcohol and some cosmetics are locked up. That's not necessarily bad, but the one time I wanted some rum it took 15+ minutes to find someone with a key. Presumably the checkout counter by the alcohol is usually staffed and I just hit it at a bad time - though who knows with this store - but that makes me feel bad for the people trying to buy the locked up cosmetics because there's not even a counter in the cosmetics section. If you're going to lock things up, don't make customers have to hunt down someone with a key! Automotive Center = Surprise, there isn't one! You can still buy oil and whatnot, but you'll have to go to a Walmart in New Orleans or Slidell to find an actual Automotive Center. Lines = My god, the lines! The *only* time I have been here and there haven't been lines was when I got there right at opening hour during the initial height of the pandemic in 2020. Every other time I've been here, the lines have been atrocious. There are two self-checkout groups, one either side of the checkout area; on more than one occasion, those lines have been so long that they met in the middle! The only way you can tell them apart was by which way the people were facing. Other times those checkout lines will go straight, disappearing into the clothes racks or supply aisles, tricking people into thinking it's short when really they're only seeing half the line. And of course the regular checkout lines get backed up too. I started doing the Curbside Pickup during the pandemic and haven't looked back. It's not perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than fighting the mess inside this store.
