A consummate professional who clearly is adhering to CDC COVID policy and procedure, I felt safe and well taken care of from start to finish. I typically only schedule 60 minute massages (I tend to not be able to relax longer than 60 minutes) but since I was on vacation, I opted for a 90 minute and could have gone for another 90 minutes-she was just that wonderful! The location is cozy, easily accessible, spotlessly clean, and welcoming. The owner and masseuse, Pua, is a native Hawaiian and exudes all the spirit of Aloha. This was my first visit and I had a 90 minute swedish massage. Pua asked me the standard questions regarding medical historical, any areas of concern on my body or other issues about which she should know. The massage itself was fantastic - firm enough to really feel it but not painful in any way. Pua was easily able to detect my tight and less flexible areas and address them. The ambiance was just right - low lighting, fresh but not overpowering floral scent, and Hawaiian slack key music. Prices were in-line with what one would expect for the type of massage and session length. If you make it to the Big Island, don't look anywhere else for your massage!

In a single word, "MARVELOUS". I had been sufferings for several years from peripheral neuropathy…read more I had gone through a fairly extensive list of medicines prescribed by my pcp and neurologist. The hope was that these medicines would at least diminish the pain I felt in my feet. Nothing helped, but I refused to give up the search. I thought I'd give acupuncture a try. To be brutally honest, normal acupuncture didn't help much. I began to read about electric acupuncture which, along with vitamin B12 therapy may actually help in rebuilding nerves. I asked Elena if she was familiar with this method, and happily, she was. For the past several sessions my treatments have been exclusively electric acupuncture, and IT WORKS !!!! While it may not be 100% cure, for the first time things feel like they are absolutely moving in the right directions. My suggestion, do a little research for yourself. Second suggestion, get treatment from Elena. I hope, and imagine, you'll be as pleased with results as I have been.
