After 6 days, it went back to the business trying to pay me my money. I called the bank three times January 4,2024 the first two times a bank clerk told me they would call me back as they would check to see what happened. The third clerk I spoke to had me on hold for 9 minutes and 34 seconds to tell me I might not have given the business the correct number because they found nothing on their end. Now they were willing to charge me during this time for having my account below the dollar amount they set, reason why I was trying to attach the account for deposits. Now this has happened before with this bank almost four years ago but at that time the staff at the bank then actual found out they did have to update something on their end and I had to update my information. The new staff who works and answers the phones at the 125th street branch in Harlem have not been able to help and I don't feel my money is secure with them. I would suggest no one go to this branch in Harlem for help or to open an account they do not know enough to help.

Moneygram is a fake as far as I am concerned. Their software does not work and do what it is…read moresupposed to do. They debited $100 from my debit card (twice) but the link they sent my son failed to allow him to deposit the money. So I am out the $200 and no one is responding to my support ticket. As far as I'm concerned these people are a criminal enterprise and I cannot say enough bad things about them.

Ok first off I want to state if I could give this location and specifically the service rep inside…read morea ZERO rating I would. I am a severe diabetic who was wired funds to pay for a medicine that was needed today $875 worth (should reflect how important this expensive medicine is to me) I arrived to the location at 5:45 to pick up a simple drop of money. After giving the teller my reference number which is simple procedure she glanced at it and said "the number is wrong, go find out why". No effort to assist or offer any information as to what my next step should be. Being that this was very important I began to panic and called money gram contact line. After back and for the with them for 45 minutes it's not 6:45. I walk back inside the location where the teller says I now have to call back money gram with the sender on the phone to verify information. She tells me service is not good in the store so to please step outside so my call doesn't get dropped. I get everything confirmed AGAIN and they tell me the money was available after the first request. I now attempt to go back in the location and it's about 7:10 P.M. At this point the teller will not open the door for me. I knock on the window as to show the teller its me, the same person u have been dealing with for the last hour. She looks at the window and signals she's not opening the door because they are closed. The info on the door says 7:15 is closing and I'm really panicking because this medicine is VERY important, almost life and death. I think she senses the tenseness of my face staring at her through the window and proceeds to laugh at me and then flick me off sticking her middle finger at me with both hands.(Definitely had to be videotaped) . I have never ever felt so helpless. So here I am at 8 o'clock with no medicine and there is no telling how i will wake up tomorrow without my insulin as she's laughing at me. This teller is the reason I will NEVER use money gram again... I will also advise my doctors office who refers many of us to use this location for funds to never refer again. The teller would not tell me her name but she is a Hispanic woman with pink fingernails and a wedding ring.. both I will always remember because of me staring at her middle fingers through the window. She was the only teller in the location so I hope she will have to be accountable for this mistreatment of a customer with a medical emergency. She was laughing while my mind was racing and panicking, very sick! Zero stars and people like that should not be employed with your company if u ever expect to compete with a company like western union. Please show accountability for this if it matters. -Nick (Let down former customer)

Despite approaching the teller for assistance, I encountered a lack of urgency and professionalism from the staff. Instead of promptly addressing the issue, they seemed indifferent and unconcerned. Even after waiting for several minutes, there was no resolution, and I was eventually issued a temporary card, causing inconvenience and frustration. The overall lack of customer service and professionalism at this branch was evident, and I have decided not to return. Improvements in staff training and customer communication are necessary to enhance the banking experience at this location. Also to add, One of the females came to see what was going on finally and it was at this time when I informed her that I was never prompted for a pin. Her reply was " oooooo it didn't?! " she then said, let me go check something, when I looked back, she was eating Milano cookies. I really try to be understanding, but the lack of urgency really annoyed me. They were so casual about it. Had me standing there like a dummy. The female, Whom I presume to be the manager never came out to apologize for the inconvenience or anything, she probably went to finish her cookies. The customer service is truly LACKING at this branch spent 30 plus minutes here, wasting additional time Because of like of urgency

Beverly Hobal is one of the clerks who works with Citibank between 123 and 124th on Armsterdam…read more She refuses to transfer my funds because there is a block that account meanwhile every single citibank was able to make that transaction without any problem. She called her manager who was so unprofessional. She had the power to override it to transfer the funds. She did not to do it because Beverly Hobal started speaking to her in Spanish which caused her not to do her job cohesively. In a professional setting, I observed how they interacted with their costumers who speak Spanish and who look like them. They were very helpful to them. They started speaking Spanish to them saying words like mi amor. Meanwhile, Beverly Hobal told me to go to another bank, to stand aside to wait for the manager to help me. It was very clear to see the inequity in the bank. I think that they need to understand customer relationship and the way they must interact to people, regardless where they come from. The manager at that bank needs to be trained because she is so incompetent about the banking system.
